It was Labor Day. I'm Navy. I picked my sister up from the airport from D.C. 45 min ago. My niece says " Drive that way." We... end up @ Moondog. I think I posted my girlfriend!!! I MEAN Waitress as well. She was cool, ki d, customer servicefriendly. The food. YUP!! Go get you some. That Brisket Nachos!!!!! What... That soft shell ???? Crab, WHAT.. Oh are wegoing to talk about the Grouper????? WHY Just eat it, Yup The Shrimp ???? Oh that Fried Shrimp, large, juicy. JUST EATIT. That Crawfish ???? Cheese Dip & ???? Chip. YUP GET YOU SOME!!!!! 1st time here. Parking lot was half full, Friday around 4pm. We were seated right away. We chose outdoor seating which was... comfortable. We started with margaritas which were AWESOME! We had shrimp for appetizers, tasty. I had more shrimp, blackened,as my main course. They were delicious. The sides could have been better. My baked potato was almost cold, okra was barely warm.My friend ordered brisket and bratwurst. He said it was good and filling, he left half of it. All in all, it was pretty good butdefinitely room for improvement. Our waitress was a little dry. She wasn't rude but very short and to the point, no conversationand not sociable with a fake smile. The ambience was ok. No music in the background, just the natural waves against the dock. Iwould probably come back but would have higher expectations if I was to make this place a regular stop. Great atmosphere & lovely staff. Love we could bring our fur babies with us & eat out on the patio. Great photo opportunities!... Our waitress even brought out a bowl of water for them. Attentive and kind. The food was delicious!! I'm impressed my oldestactually finished his double meat burger & fries. It was pretty neat that the staff cheered him on to finish his meal... ????... My friends loved their crab cakes and pepper shrimp. The shrimp was perfectly cooked! The moondog burger was delicious but the... fried tortilla on mine was stale. The patio was nice and I loved the palm growing through the room. Read more
