This is a Mexican restaurant that just opened. People are kind and the food is cheap and they give a lot of food.I think it... tastes good, too. If you like Mexican food, it's a restaurant with good cost-effectiveness. Read more

One of the better Tex Mex spots out in the Katy area. Massive menu with something for everyone, and the portions are very... generous. Fresh salsas and fresh everything else. Wish they had a few more local beers on the menu, but a lil Modelo never hurt. The queso is like staple Tex Mex vibes. We’ll be back. Read more

Food was good. The lunch fajita has not enough meat. Other than that, everything was great!!!

Got takeout. They charge you for every little thing. I was charged 2 dollars for takeout packaging and 2 dollars for a "service... fee." There was also a charge for "non cash" discount which was 3.5 percent of the total. I was willing to pay in cash but thesystem does not let you place an order online without using a card. Food was bland. Chicken was dry and had no seasoning. Ricetasted like Chinese rice rather than Mexican rice. Who puts corn, peas, and carrots in Mexican rice? Food is way overpriced. Iwould rather eat taco bell than eat here again. At least the food there has flavor. Will not return. Read more

Joined family here for dinner. The food was wonderful. My wife and I decided to order and split both duihes. She ordered the... grilled quail. The grilling was very well done, with excellent seasoning. It was grilled to just the right temperature, andstayed perfectly moist. Their rice and charro beans are excellent, as well. I ordered their Camarones Bravos, which are 6 baconwrapped jumbo shrimp stuffed with jalapeno pepper, and topped with melted cheese and Ranchero sauce. They were perfectlygrilled, plump, and juicy. A perfectly savory and delicious flavor. Together, the 3 shrimp and 1 quail made a perfect sizeddinner. Definitely a great place to meet up in a small group, and try a whole bunch of stuff. Houston is known for several types of foods, like BBQ, burgers, etc. but the food that is most associated with the area is... Mexican. Even though we have an abundance of these restaurants, I still like to try new places and thus I was more than ready tovisit and sample the food at Neca’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina in Fulshear. The first thing that got my attention herewas the size of the interior. There are a few different sections to the dining area and plus outdoor seating, and it looks likeit could hold about 150 guests. The bar area is smaller than expected, but the overall space is larger than the average Fulshearrestaurant. There is also a good deal of spacing between the tables, so you don’t need to worry about bumping intopeople. With the food, Neca’s Mexican Restaurant and Cantina serves the classic Mexican food options, like you would expect. The food tastes fresh and good. They start you off with the traditional nacho chips with red salsa and green. I found the salsaa little too bland, but it was still good for a warmup. And the food itself is certainly better than average, from the rice, tothe beans, to the main dish. I like, too, that they serve different meat options and seafood and it’s cool that the portionsizes are not excessive. I prefer not to take food home with me and there is no such problem at this restaurant. I do have anissue here with the beer. The choices are too few and there is little to no craft beer among the selections. They do, however, serve some good margaritas and the bartenders can mix up a cocktail to your liking. So, when all things are considered, Neca’sMexican Restaurant & Cantina in Fulshear is a restaurant worth visiting. I like what I experienced here and the service wasquick and courteous. I recommend paying them a visit if you’re in the area. Read more

My wife and I have been going to almost every single Mexican restaurant in the Katy/Fulsher area and Ñecas that’s got to be... one of the best ones out there. I know it’s a brand new location so everything looks spotless and super clean. The waiterswere nice and courteous. We probably waited around 10 minutes when they brought our freshly made, sizzling food to our tables.Presentation was perfect and the taste was beyond awesome. You can really taste the freshness of the flavors and the quality ofthe foods. I’m going to give you the same advice I give all these other restaurants, when everybody starts out everything isbeautiful, super good food and very high-quality customer service. But as time goes on all that stuff starts to fade away. Please don’t become like mini of the other restaurants in this area that started out perfectly and now we won’t even Touchthem with a 10 foot pole. Nothing but best of luck to your new business. Read more
