Not a great experience. Lots of little details that added up to a bad experience. The place didn?t smell clean when we walked... in. The floors were sticky everywhere we stepped, and every table was dirty. I wiped ours down on my own. My daughter was employed at this Bahama Bucks several years ago. It was her first official job. She can tell you all kinds of... horror stories. Mold growing in the sugar water vat (which rarely got cleaned). No handle to open the freezer door from theinside, employees could get locked in, horrible safety hazard. Plumbing leaks and water standing all over the floors. Theynever had enough change for the register and were always out of many of the snow cone flavors. Credit card machine rarelyworked. A manager that spent more time on her phone that actually doing her job. The owner would take the employees tipsbecause she claimed they were stealing out of the register, with absolutely no proof and yet no one was ever fired forit. Several years later, my daughter who is now in college applied for a summer internship. When they checked her references andemployment records they said they couldn't verify her employment at Bahama Bucks. Not sure if the reason is because Bahama Bucksdenied that she worked for them, or if they just wouldn't return a phone call. We had to show them her W-2 as proof. BahamaBucks corporate should investigate the owner of this store. Read more
The ice is sooo soft and fluffy! Margarita/wedding cake is my fav! 10/10 recommend!
If I could give zero stars for this location I would and for the entire company as well. I placed an online order to be picked... up the following day for my senior community where I work. When I went to pick up the order, the location was closed. Mind you,the order was PAID for. I have called the location numerous times to speak to a manager and NO ONE has called me back. I loggeda concern on the corporate website and after 9 days of not hearing from anyone, I called them. They assured me it would be takencare of and still NOTHING!! Three weeks later and I have not received my refund and not to mention my residents missed out ontheir snow cones. Please give the small mom and pop stands your business. Young lady at the register was so so nice and welcoming. Customer service was excellent. I ordered a sour apple and sour war... head baby sno with extra gummy bears! The apple was more sour than the warheads but over all it was very good! Read more
Being from New Orleans I love a good snowball. I will say that this place is a welcome addition to west Katy. Absolutely great... snowballs. Lots of flavors, but if you are like me there is only one for last 40 years. Read more
Bahama Bucks is awesome! The staff is lots of fun and very customer service oriented. I forgot to ask for the snow cones "to go"... and the were very happy yo transfer them to a larger cup for me. Read more
Excellent snow cones. They use powdered ice, not chips. The snow cone is as soft as cotton.
