I was very upset by the type of workers this el pollo loco had. I mean I ordered my food and was told I had to wait 20 minutes... for my food which was two orders or two piece meal. They said they ran out of chicken. As a former worker for the company andwell for them to say they ran out means their cook doesn?t know how to read / view how his chicken is going. Your not supposedto let it run out. The sad part was he did chicken but because I called him out on his lie his ego got bruised. He didn?t giveme my order until 39 min after I ordered. He gave our bigger order from customers who came after me first. 12 piece chickendone 8 piece chicken done 16 piece chicken done But 4 pieces of chicken not ready for 39 min. I was late to where I needed togo and to make it worse he gave me the most burnt dried chicken ever! Read more

We were a party of 7 to eat there at the restaurant. I ordered the 16 piece mixed & 3 large sides. 1. Tables are dirty & have... to ask to get them cleaned. Tables left all wet. They wouldn?t dry so need to ask for napkins to dry off table tops. Aftergetting our food fresh and hot. 2. How are we supposed to eat with no plates or utensils provided or offered to us? So up tothe counter again to ask. 3. I have to ask for napkins because they won?t give to you unless you specifically ask. 4. I askfor spoons to be able to serve the sides. No spoons. How the heck were we going to serve the sides? Have you ever felt thecontainer of beans how hot it is? It proved challenging to serve the sides, especially the rice & beans with a fork or pouringwithout burning yourself or splashing & hoping the rice or beans doesn?t come out all at once. I learned something for next timeif there is a next time (which I doubt) to this EPL or any other; I will always ask before ordering if they have spoons. Nospoons, no order. Go some place else. It was a bad experience that caused an argument among us. It ruined the nice meal time itwas supposed to be. Read more

This location takes forever for fast food restaurant to call your food for dine in . Went there in about dinner time all tables... were filthy barely any were clean to say it, I started coughing and as I was talking to the cashier and he didn?t even offer mea cup of water to clear my throat . extremely prejudiced against white people at this location. When my order came up none ofthe employees called my number my chicken was too hot, small scooping of sides . I had to ask for utensils Nobody here speaksEnglish or if they do they refused to acknowledge that you?re standing there trying to ask for assistance. It wasn?t even busyin the drive-through when I had received my dinner. Even the manager completely ignored me and didn?t apologize for heremployees ignoring me. The cashier purposely didn?t let my order go through so I kept continuously choking he also refused togive me my cup, so I can get a drink while the order was going through. My broccoli was cold my food had been sitting out longenough to accumulate flies it?s a bad set up you cannot see your food when you?re sitting in the dining area due to the wherethe drink stand is. I do not recommend anybody going to this location for dine in. Or to even eat here feeling totallydisrespected is not appropriate for an establishment that works with customer service. If you eat here you might want to takeyour business somewhere else it?s not worth the hassle. Read more

Ordered through the Drive-thru and that was the last time i ever come to this location. The chicken is always overcooked, but... the most upsetting is that the sauces were terrible. The house salsa is rotten, I mean you can see as the lid is slightlyinflated, and as soon as you open the little container, he rotten smell comes right out, and avocado salsa is so water down, itdoesn't taste like avocado, it taste like oil and serranos only. Yuck. The portions of the sides, I got a pinto beans and abroccoli and the beans were half the container. I mean, we are paying for half the food. Manager really needs to inspect qualityof food before it is served to customers. I am so disappointed in this location. Read more

Came to try the new shredded beef Birria Tacos that's available to El Pollo Loco reward members! Sneak peak I guess. Got the 2... taco Birria meal which comes with 2 beef Birria tacos, consumé dipping sauce, tortilla chips, and salsa. Drink not included.Meal is $8.29 which I find a bit pricey but that's the cost of trying something new! It was pretty good for a fast food place. The shredded beef was tender and flavorful. The taco was deep fried like how they do it with Jack in the Box tacos. Theconsumé dip was a bit salty but still paired very well with the tacos. I recommend trying it! I wish I would have gotten thestuffed quesadilla instead though but I chose tacos as that's the classic traditional way to have Birria. Will try Birriaquesadilla next time Staff was really nice. I mean the person who rung me up and prepared my order. This store wears face masksbut they do not wear gloves. They should!!! Please wear gloves! Read more

Placed an online app order that was ready for pickup, however they closed doors and you have to pickup via drive thru, which... added an unanticipated 15min delay. I can understand that for to safety reasons but wish I didn't find out at the door. Fortheir part, the food was hot and steamy when I received it. Chicken was moist and tender. Docking two points because ladyskimped on salsa (4 salsa for 16pc meal) and the side of corn had gross brown kernels that had weird texture. Read more

It was our first time buying lunch from El Pollo Loco. We bought a lunch pack and two different tacos. Overall the food was... good. Enough for one person. They only do drive through due to covid. Will try different menu again soon. Read more
