PLEASE! Stop washing your lettuce and tomatoes in Bakers Ammonia. I don't care if the FDA declares it safe! I can taste the... ammonia and it ruins my ability to eat anything washed with it! Ammonia is poisonous. Stop extending the shelf life of yourfresh vegetables at the expense of my health!
