My family loves the scones (blueberry and the cranberry mixed fruit). I purchase them frozen and bake them at home. They... have become our Sunday breakfast treat. We also like the brownies and the blueberry loaf bread. The cookies are good, too. With Covid-19 safety measures in place I feel comfortable going in to replenish our sweet treats. Yesterday pm, I purchased what I thought was a cherry scone. The sign was smeared making it hard to read. The scone was... tasteless and the frosting had no flavor. So many things they could have done with this scone. The price was $3.50 which isway overpriced. I have been going to Beverly's since Bev Perry owned the bakery. Wish she still owned it. She would never hadtolerated such a product being sold. Bring back the old days! Read more
If I could give negative stars I would. Beverly?s so called Best cakes used to taste good and made the rude attitude and absence... of customer care almost tolerable. They gone from bad to worse in customer service, treating money paying customers withdecency is not a priority here. They treat people as if they don?t care if we paid top dollar for a dry, messed up looking cakeor not. I will go ANYWHERE else and take my $140+ Cake orders elsewhere. The last dry tasting layered cake I ordered from hereslid off to the side for no apparent reason and all they could say was You must have Done something to cause it! Really? Twopeople hand carrying it to the car and we caused this?! Never again!! Read more
They usually have cakes that are available for same day purchase of different varieties. I give it a two because the service is... good for some employees and horrible with others. I asked the representative to write Happy Birthday Linda Flor. She returnswith Half the name. She corrected it. However, I asked for two cakes. On the second cake, she misspelled the name. I tried to goback, but they were closed by then and two days after. That girl still works there. It?s little mistakes like that which make melose trust and willingness to return to Beverlys. I highly recommend Beverly's Best, My son was getting married in a rush before leaving back east and I needed a small beautiful... cake, I walked in and was so happy to see they had just what i was looking for. an elegant five layer white cake with mangowhipped filling, frosted in light blue with a beautiful white ribbon. everyone loved it, so delicious. we will be ordering thewedding cake from Beverly's Best for the formal wedding in October. Awesome bakery with lots of fresh delicious goodies. They always have a ton of options for cakes, cupcakes, and more. Our... company has been getting birthday cakes from Beverlys for our employees the past few years and they never diassapoint. Beverly's Best bakery have the best cakes and pastries in town. We ordered my stepdaughter's wedding cake....it was so... beautiful and she got so many compliments not only on how it looked but it tasted soooo good.
