First time visitor to Frostbite (Michigan transplant). I will definitely be back (I actually came back after visiting some... properties for ice cream which was equally good)! The nugget basket with fries was great and the mac n cheese was a delicioussurprise as was the coleslaw (both were better than I expected from a non bbq restaurant). The service was PHENOMENAL...probably the best I've had at any restaurant in as long as I can remember (even pre COVID). The Welcome to Frostproof "TheFriendly City" sign was not an exaggeration. Great locally owned drive in. We had ice cream. Soft was big & very good. I had scooped in waffle cone. There are lots of... choices. Many people eating a late lunch all meals look fabulous. Will return to try more selections. Staff is friendly &polite. Great place. Read more

I was very pleasantly surprised by this one. I feel that the name Frostbite Ice Cream is very deceiving as to what this business... actually offers. It?s so much more than just an ice cream shop! Now don?t get me wrong- the ice cream is definitely the starand worth the brag here. I got a simpler chocolate malt and couldn?t have been happier with the thick, refreshing dessert I wasserved. They have plenty of hard packed ice cream flavors as well. But the lovely ?secret? here is how decent their foodactually is! It?s definitely a simple menu with things like wraps, burgers, quesadillas and such. But the quality is much betterthan I ever would have expected. This was a most enjoyable visit overall. Read more
