A disappointment. I’ve come here before and the food and service was much better. Tonight, the Smokey Mezcal Margarita had... this awful aftertaste, the chips were stale, the guac was tasteless, the street tacos weren’t good, and the server was inanother world. I hope they shape up, because I love the Chicago locations and I really want to continue coming here. Read more

This is what my $17 lunch entree looked like when it arrived - dirty plate, yellowing/browning shredded lettuce, and no sauce on... the “enchiladas.” The crunchy taco shell was soft and stale. The rice had crunchy pieces in it, clearly reheated. Iabsolutely know there are Taco Bells with better “Tex Mex.” ???? Thankfully they took it back and didn’t charge. Veryfriendly server. Read more

Wow there Tacos are packed. Usually when going to a Mexican restaurant I order 4 to 6 tacos cause they usually go down like hors... d'oeuvres. This was not the case with Uncle Julio's tacos. I ordered 3 Tacos 1 Chicken and 2 beef tacos. Meat in Beef andChicken were very palatable. Best way to Uncle Julio's "fast" is go to intersection Litzsinger Rd & S Lindbergh Rd and head Westand then right. Read more

Went for dinner with a friend, service started a little slow but the whole experience was redeemed. The chicken and beef fajitas... were excellent. Id say it better then the Uncle Julio's on Lemmon Ave, Dallas Tx. I did think the 25% tip is a bit presumptuouswhen I received the tablet to pay my bill. Feb 10, 2022 Read more

We went on a busy Saturday night. I will echo every review on here by saying the service was slow but they seemed understaffed,... like the entire country. The service was incredibly friendly and the food was really good. I only knock one star because we didorder dessert and that’s when things went really south. I’m pretty sure they forgot about us, as the food took over 30 minto come out. When we got it, it was cold and undercooked. Read more

Just OK food, good service as they stepped up and fixed a mix up. Portions were smaller for Mexican at a little more cost than... the less fancy places Read more

Aesthetically, this place ranks on the higher end for Mexican in the area. That's the nicest thing I can say about this place.... The service is incredibly slow and everything is overpriced. I understand that this is in Frontenac, but the quality needs tosupport that price and it didn't. The salsa and queso were good, but the sides are awful. The rice was bland and they serveCharro beans. Don't order the quesadilla, it is not worth it. My wife did enjoy her grapefruit margarita though. I also thoughtthe electronic check was neat. The offer of free guacamole if I joined the rewards program is what got me there for my first visit!! It was so good and so... much, I couldn’t believe it was free; that’s how they got me!! I had to see what else was there and affordable so I orderedchicken soft tacos. I added guacamole to them and I was so happy. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive andgood. The cooks/chef know what they’re doing indeed. The place has a nice atmosphere also. See my photos and visit whenyou’re hungry! ???? I loved it. Thanks, Uncle Julio’s!! Read more
