We love this place! It is our favorite Hibachi restaurant, and we have several choices within an hour of where we live! The... servers and staff are friendly, the food is good, and they go out of their way to do their best for you. We had a small childeating with us tonight, and we knew he would want eggs, and our cook made scrambled eggs for him. And when he finished them andwas still hungry, they made another egg for him. Recently, there has been some slanderous and very misinformed comments about Mikados flying around on social media. I also am... leaning on the belief that the slander started is coming from a very upset, childish former employee. Although, Truthfully, Iam a VERY frequent patron of Mikados and have never even seen that supposed employee before.. That being said, I am here to pushback against those comments and resolidify my stance with one of my most favorite places to enjoy quality food andhospitality. I moved to Virginia in 2008 and had the pleasure of meeting Henra at a different location in Winchester beforeMikados ever opened. To my surprise, Mikados opens, and there was Henra. The service we get everytime is Top Notch. The sushi isdelicious, and out of the 14 years I have been a loyal customer - only twice have I ever had an issue and the issue was alwaysquickly resolved!! My family and friends enjoy our birthdays, special events or even those nights where we just don't feel likecooking dinner at home. If anyone has any concerns, they can clearly access the Lord Fairfax Health district page and even seefor themselves the most recent inspection that took place at Mikados. Issues found were minor and easily corrected, and no signof pests was found despite the allegations that was recently thrown around by a "former employee ". The follow up inspectiondetermined Mikados passed with flying colors. Read more

Absolutely amazing! We came here for dinner and we had an event that delayed us once we were already seated. Well not only was... everyone totally accommodating but they made us feel welcome and not a burden even though we had to change up and wait (ourfault not there's). Once seated again everyone was incredibly friendly and entertaining as it was when we first were seated. Ontop of all that the food was amazingand entertaining. Ordered takeout. Got home and part of my order was missing. Tried to call for over 2 hours before finally getting through. I... explained the situation to someone who said they were the manager. Not only was he rude, he refused to give me a refund for theitems I didn?t receive. Said it was a ?Saturday night? and wouldn?t refund my order. I let them know I would need to dispute theportion of my order with my credit card company and was told to ?go ahead.? We have been ordering from here once a month, foralmost 10 years. Very entertaining. Some vegetarian options but there is butter in almost everything. They were willing to make adjustments like... swaping out the meat soup so we could have the miso soup instead. Staff were nice too. Read more
