Mrs. Flip Out wanted to give this place a try for a quick coffee. She ordered her usual hot breve and a hot chocolate. It was a... cute little shop and had a bright and spacious atmosphere. Finally came and tried this place for breakfast today and glad we did! Cute little spot with very friendly staff and a nice... atmosphere. Got the California Benedict, tasty but my only complaint was how thick the tomato and avocado was cut so the ratioof flavors were a bit off (if I?m being super nit picky), the Nutella French toast was amazing so highly recommend getting thatif you?re a Nutella fan, toast was cooked well and a had a nice thickness to it. My wife loved her Grilled cheese, thecombination of cheeses was nice. Overall really liked it, I?d give it a (4.5 ??) and would recommend trying it out! I?ll be backfor sure. Read more
I have always been a fan of brunch places with quite aesthetics, this one does total justice. Came here on a Sunday morning... around 11.30, was lucky enough to get a table for 4 given the limited seating situation. Couple of things to remember, it's aself service kinda restaurant, limited indoor and outdoor seating (do come early). Now coming to the best part - Food. I reallyenjoyed and so did my friends choosing from a variety of options that they have. ****Highly recommended - Avocado toast, Veggietoast on a beet or pesto sauce, Egg Benedict's and Chicken panini. The Nest Cafe had been on my list for a while but I had been waiting for my daughter to be off from school so I could take her... too and what ensued was perfection! I ordered the Salmon Benedict. Wow! You guys these were packed full with greatness. Thesalmon was so fresh and thicker than most I have had which made it so amazing! The hollandaise was also perfect! My friendordered the Italian Chicken Panini which was spectacular! The pesto sauce with the chicken and bell peppers?so good! They alsorecommended adding sun dried tomatoes to it and we listened which was the perfect suggestion! I won?t lie, the first thing thatcaught my eye was the latte art and it was impressive! We both loved our lattes. Mine was a regular one with the heart decorand my friend got the Winnie the Pooh one which she devoured as well! The reason I wanted to have both of my kids to bring themhere is because of the snowman pancakes I had seen and let me tell you, they devoured these! My daughter ate the whole thing andmy son left maybe two bites? So I can definitely recommend these for the kids! Service was fantastic. While the presentation was nice, even a flower petal on the plate. The quality is not even close to what I expected. Silver... skin left on smoked salmon and the fish was slimy, egg was undercooked. I expected a lot more from the reviews and the picturesI saw. Unfortunately, I won?t be back. Has to be a better cafe in town. The espresso was not a good quality of bean andregretted getting it.
