Being from Brooklyn NYC, I have looked for a pizza place that comes close to home. I was told Johnny?s was it and actually... didn?t disappoint.\nLet?s start with the pizza it?s self, the flavor was great, the dough was the problem as again Texans makeit way too thin because our pizza isn?t as thin like they think it is. Now the crust on the end is actually perfect. Sauce waspretty good too and the presentation was spot on to NYC. The bottom of the slice was crispy but again way too thin.\nWhen Ifolded the pizza like I do back home it stayed and didn?t flop like other TX pizza?s.\n\nThe garlic knots now: Knots were fluffyand more like a Sweet roll in texture but I?ll give them 3/5 because they need to be a little more crispy.\n\nThe restaurantit?s self was clean, staff were friendly and the restrooms spotless.\nGreat location and plenty of parking. Decor was lacking alittle but it?s well lit. Lots of TV?s and a fountain for your drinks.\n\nI?ll be coming back to this pizza place because itreally is the closest to my beloved Brooklyn Slice.\n\nNext time I?ll skip the knots and try more of the pizza.\n\nPs: If you?refrom NYC this is the spot to eat at. My husband and I was trying to figure out what we were going to have for dinner. It\'s Friday and of course there is no... cooking in triple digit heat. Johnny\'s we decided on, as we walked in we were greeted by a very nice man. Mr. Steve he showedus the order counter, very clean establishment. The minute we walked in I knew Johnny\'s will be well liked by me. We orderedour pizza it just do happens the owner was behind the counter with his staff. The staff is consist of a group of very nice youngmen. Very pleasant very well mannered young men. It put a smile on my face to see. I thought of their parents as they should bevery proud of them all. We were offered wine or beer while we wait for our pizza. We sat at the bar ordered a glass of CupcakeMoscato for myself and my husband ordered a beer. My wine was nice and chilled and hubby was pleased with his beer selection.The atmosphere is nice calm and very pleasant. You can dine in or take out. Hubby and I sat at the bar enjoyed our drinks havinga very pleasant conversation with Mr Steve. It\'s refreshing to sit inside comfortably and enjoy a nice evening with good, nicefolks this is what we received as we waited for our dinner. We cannot wait to try other dishes on the menu. We had halfpepperoni, half margarita that\'s my fave. Hubby loves pepperoni. The pizza was Awesome!!!! The perfect amount of garlic etc.Pizza dough was very fresh. The sauce is exactly how I like it. Fresh and full of flavor. We decided we will do lunch next weeksince I will have a few days off from work. There is music playing which I enjoyed. Johnny\'s is the place to be. Stopped in for a medium cheese pie, and we were delighted with our order. The NY Style pizza ???? was delicious. A very good... pizza! We shared a piece of Tiramisu also which was an excellent desert.\nDining room was well kept and staff was bothcourteous and helpful. We will definitely ???? be returning to this Jomny\'s Pizza. The pizza was crispy and good. It was made in the Brooklyn style that I have personally eaten in Brooklyn. Pizza and other... Italian food is supposed to be well done with caramelized cheese and such. Though I am from the south some foods especially inTexas are just barely warmed or cheese melted and that\'s the way they serve food here. My children liked their pizza too itreally was good. The owner is friendly too that makes a huge difference. Read more

Beware: the photos are far more tasty than the pizza. I ordered cheese sticks, pizzas, a calzone, and zeppole and somehow... everything was, to say the least, NOT good. Everything was incredibly bland and tasteless. For example, the calzone was overdoneand no one even bothered to brush the buttery herb blend on top. The calzone is also very oily and messy and served with highlyacidic marinara sauce. The pizza crust has no flavor (add some salt please) and the pizza is in desperate need of more sauce. Asfor the zeppole, someone does not know how to make pastry dough! The zeppole were so tough I wondered whether they were madewith glue rather than milk (over-mixed much). I was looking forward to eating here, but I was terribly dissatisfied with what Iwas served. Read more
Yay! My family devoured it! Definitely NY style pizza, so happy this is in Frisco. Jonny was there?super friendly, active owner.... The sauce, salt, thin, crust?yum. When our family comes from NY we?ve always steered clear from bringing them out for pizza, butwe finally have a place! Read more
I love this place, their ?Johnny?s pizza? is one of the best Vegetarian pizza I have tried around in Dallas Fort worth area.... Good ambiance, good staff, nothing to complain. Do try the Garlic knots. Read more
