The biscuit and gravy omelet is a must have, perfect in every way. The wife and I found this place a few years back and it has... become our go-to for our weekly breakfast day date. Highly recommend this restaurant, great food and great service. Read more
Another Sunday, Mass of course, then a post-Mass breakfast outing. Today's choice? Eggsellent Cafe. The good: four guests for... breakfast, one Cowboy omelet, one Meat Lover's skillet, one Santa Fe skillet, and one Eggsellent skillet. Everybody enjoyedtheir choice. Eli was pleasant, helpful, and prompt with checking in, refills, the check, and to-go boxes. The bad: nothing,really. Shout-outs: Eli, of course. The house-branded bottle of hot sauce was pleasantly spicy and tasty. All substitutionswere handled properly and we weren't made to feel as if we were being difficult. Minor quibble: the Eggsellent skillet had tohave regular sausage in place of the chicken apple sausage. The bride enjoyed her skillet regardless, but she would have likedto have tried it as described in the menu. The bottom line: my main criterion for a restaurant is always, would I go back? Andfor Eggsellent Cafe, the verdict is very much, yes, yes I would. The problem here is that being new to the Aubrey, Prosper,Little Elm, Frisco, and Denton areas, there are so many places we HAVEN'T been, it's difficult to go back somewhere we havebeen. Nice place and great service. First time visit and wasn't bad. The food came out quick and no issues. Total cost was good too.
Great place to grab breakfast. I suggest the smoked salmon eggs benedict! Friendly staff and wonderful service!

The food was okay. I didn?t like the taste or texture of my scrambled eggs. I might had some veggies next time to add more... flavor. The pancakes were good, but very thick. One is plenty instead of the short stack which comes with three. We did havegreat service and were seated very quickly. Read more
