It was amazing experience the food very delicious and the member who was at front desk the way she receives customer was cool... and in a polite manner. I ordered 3 biryanis , it's tastes really good and the spicy level was perfect as I mentioned. Even Ialso ordered chicken tikka masala with butter naan, the texture of butter naan seems like a perfect indian restaurant in USA. Iundoubtedly recommend my friends to your restaurant to make their perfect lunch or dinner. Read more

The ambiance gives college canteen vibes so yes it?s Instagram-able but the food is awful. I?m giving 1 star for the filter... coffee which was the only good thing. We ordered the Bengali egg chicken kathi roll, it?s really bad. The special biriyani wasnothing special just spicy from masalas no flavor at all. The rabri had actually gone bad, tasted sour. The biggest thing isthat it gave us digestion problems. I don?t like putting such a review but food in this place was really off. Save your moneyand stomach! Read more

Ambience got 5 rating, but food got 4. It got hippy vibe! I ordered chicken Manchurian noodles and good but not excellent. Felt... little fish oil smell. I?ll go again with family! Read more

Had samosa chat, which had no flavor. The chutneys weren't great. It just has lot of yoghurt. I've been to every branch of Desi... district. The only good snack is egg puff. This location didn't have it. Please skip this place if possible. Read more

ordered a carry out and on reaching the restaurant, someone at the counter said ?someone else picked the food ? when It was... laying right in front of him! That being said, we should have just walked out since the food was absolutelyhorrendous. ?Tandoori momo? - an insult to both tandoori and Tibetan cuisine - oily, unpalatable mess ?Paneer tikka pasta? -another oily mess - some kind of an oily gravy mixed in to boiled pasta ?Veg noodles? - utterly dry and chewy Steer clear andspend your money elsewhere. We went here in the month of may while visiting Dallas, my friend suggested this place and we went as two families, this place... has two locations and due to the reason of restaurant closing time, we prefer to go to the frisco location, by the time we wentit was 30 mins before closing and first of all I should appreciate people taking the orders, they were so helpful and checkingwith the kitchen for the dishes we ordered and made some arrangements to get it done, they have wide varieties of food, appetizers, snacks, chat items, desserts here, we ordered many dishes and all the dishes tasted so good, we are missing thesetypes of restaurants in Charlotte, we got all the dishes and by the time we left the place the shop was already closed butstill we got excellent service from the people working there around, only few places we get this kind of service, I highlyrecommend this place to anyone to try good Indian food, lastly their tacos are customized to Indian flavors and would be a musttry. Tried Desi District first time while visiting family in Frisco, Texas. Tried Veg. Kathi Roll and Chicken Kathi Roll. Loved... chicken kathi roll, chicken was moist and full of authentic flavors. Veg. Roll wasn?t that great. Ambiance is beautiful andstaff is friendly. They also have Indian grocery shopping inside which is helpful and saves your time. 5 stars are for theirbeautiful ambiance.
