I've never had cream puffs before so I was excited to try Beard Papa's. They have 5 filings on rotation apparently. There were... many options as we could mix the topping and filling. I played it safe and got vanilla filling with the Oreo cream puff. I thinkthe price is also fair for the dessert. Read more

So, I've never had one of these creme puffs before (but they were highly recommended to me) so if you've never had these before... I can give you a great American analog to set your expectations to. I had the 'Original Puff with Vanilla Creme' and to mysurprise this combination tasted VERY MUCH like those eatable vanilla ice cream wafer cones (though the puffs are not crunchy,but light and crispy). The pastry itself tasted like the cone without it's vanilla flavor, but with the lightly flavoredvanilla creme, it was nearly spot on in taste. After having this, I almost wished they offered a side of ice cream to go withit (especially since I wouldn't describe the taste of this as "sweet"). The cream puffs are super good, with my favorite being the strawberry topped one with mango filling. They still have other... fillings that I haven't tried yet though, so hopefully one day. They have a base set of fillings that they always have and acalendar of special fillings that changes out. This location has been super friendly so far with the people that have helped meso far. I feel like it's always the same two people. I live far away from here though, so I may have to try their Grand Prarielocation instead as it's much closer. I've been craving an european type eclair for about a week and this place definitely hit the spot! Simply delicious! The puff... just melted in my mouth with light and fulfilling cream. Will definitely be back as this place is my new gem now! Read more

We tried three: green tea, creme brulee and crispy almond. The only one I liked was the green tea. The crispy almond tasted like... burnt corn flakes. The amount of filling in each wasn't consistent. They also took my order incorrectly (and the guy in front ofme). Don't get me wrong. These are tasty. Just need to improve on order taking and filling consistency. Read more
