It is always so so very good!! The food is amazing drinks fantastic the little house is so cozy and beautifully decorated. The... outdoor dining is so beautiful as well!! We had a table of 11 which was a challenge and the server sometimes expressed that inher expression, that?s the first negative experienced I?ve had there, in the 4 times I?ve enjoyed dinner. Amazing dining experience. The best on the island we've had the pleasure of trying. We had the shrimp cakes which we far... superior to traditional crab cakes. The beef lettuce wraps which were superbly seasoned. And the duck breast which was easilytop 5 best duck dishes of our lives. Bathrooms were also nice, wish they had cloth towels versus paper but that is all!! Servicewas great, loved our host. He kept checking in on us which was nice. Read more

We loved everything about Duck Soup. The staff was wonderful and made us very comfortable- our waitress Julia was especially... great. Both the garden and the interior are beautifully decorated. The cocktails are lovely and the bartender went above andbeyond when my Mom requested a passion fruit cosmo. The food was delicious and interesting- I especially recommend the duck. Read more

Not my first time on San Juan Island, but my first time enjoying a meal at the caliber of the finest restaurants in America.... Fabulous local ingredients, including the best oysters I?ve ever tasted! And really not that hard to get to, by car or taxi. Read more

Duck Soup is an experience and a pleasure. We've been fans of Duck Soup for over two decades now. And tonight was our first... visit since the covid pandemic occurred. It was still as exquisite and marvelous as always and a great way to spend a Father'sDay evening. The food has amazingly delightful with fanciful layers of flavors. Their delicious creations are truly unique andincredible. We started with appetizers of their Pork Belly, which was so tender it just melted in your mouth, and LambMeatballs, which were savory and perfectly spiced. For entrées we had the Duck Breast, which was fantastic with anorange-carrot puree, and the Spring Pasta with the bright and lively flavors or sweet peppers and locally grown fresh peas. Allcapped off with martinis and their unfathomable, but truly remarkable, Dandelion Ice Cream Sundaes! WOW! The staff, many of whomhave been there for years (huge thanks to Inness and Anna Lisa!) are the most exemplary and incredible I've ever seen. Theyreally go above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is superb. Bravo to you all! They have an excellent selection ofcurated wines and some fun seasonal cocktails. And their menu changes with the seasons so there are always new dishes andflavors to experience. Reservations are definitely needed. We highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back again! Andthank you Duck Soup for the many wonderful, and delicious, memories! Just one suggestion to future patrons: either reserve abooth or bring your own seat cushion (see below). PS to Duck Soup - your new dining chairs, although artisticallyrustic-modern, were absolute torture to sit on for our 2 hour meal! Just a small suggestion to add seat cushions. Or better yet, burn them all and get something comfortable. That's all. ???? Read more
