Great food great dining. Service was on par with expectations & the drink menu was acceptable. Prices were good for the... quality. We had an issue with our reservation being processes however the hostess was quick to collaborate on the matter andfind adequate seating. Overall positive vibes and reputable establishment for quality food and libations. Read more
This place was soooooo good. We made reservations a week ago and I've been looking forward to trying this place out for a wile.... The food was absolutly amazing!!! We started out with truffle fries and the arugula salad, both were perfect! For dinner weshared a steak and pizza. Out tab was only $95 I thought it was going to be alot more lol. The service was just as good as thefood. If your going to go make sure you get a resourvation because it's not a huge place. That being said keep in mind it's alittle loud inthere as well. Have dined here tons of times, their service and food quality is consistent ….Ambiance, their wood fired pizzas are super... awesome and they have a private room too for the personal parties, but they open at 5 pm till 10 pm ,and closed on Mondays , soit’s always full …. Took my wife here to celebrate her birthday, our first time dining at The Annex Kitchen, very nice atmosphere and very busy... location with outstanding food. Our meal consisted of, Steamed Mussels, Kale Salad, Butter Lettuce Salad, Squid Ink linguine,Broccolini, Tagliolini and Hanger Steak. Hats off to the Chefs for such an outstanding meal, our first server got us seated andexplained everything very well since it was our first experience here, he then was pulled away and we were greeted by Gretchenwho got us started with our appetizer followed by our order and drink request. We were having a great time when we noticed thatonce our food had come it was a very long delay for us to be checked on by Gretchen. We had completely finished our meals andtable cleared before being asked about desert. I will say that it was very busy when we arrived but by the time we had finishedit had slowed quite a bit. Annex Kitchen continues to be one of the best places to get Italian food in Fresno. The lighting/design of the place is warm and... inviting. Open view concept of the pizza oven adds a fireplace like aspect. The food is excellent and I find myself going backtime and time again for just for the arancini appetizer! Drinks are phenomal and are strong but well balanced. Service isfriendly and prompt. This is the perfect place for special dinners and events/celebrations. Note: The burger is actually aspecialty item that is only offered on Thursdays with a limited availability of 10 per evening. Read more
Wow, what a Fresno treasure! Visited for the first time on a Thursday evening with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. No... reservation but got seated right away at the communal table. Ordered the risotto balls, house bread, diavola pizza, sweet cornpasta, seafood pasta, and ricotta doughnuts with chocolate & caramel - everything was DELICIOUS! Our server was so sweet andattentive (I believe her name was Ari). Our table was regularly bussed/cleaned, and overall, we had a fantastic experience.Can't wait to return! Read more
