The food here was amazing, the wait was pretty long but at the end it was worth it. The cook was real good preparing our food... and the show they put on was great, I love that they put more vegetables in the food not like another restaurant that I've beento. I was in Fresno on business, came here for lunch. We ordered the spicy edamame appetizers which were delicious and spicy, my... daughter had some sushi and I had the lunch special with steak. The fried rice with bacon was delicious! Also, the steak wastender and the veggies were cooked perfectly. The onion that they set on fire was pretty cool! I had a blueberry cocktail whichwas delicious also but all their cocktails sounded so unique and delicious I wanted to try them all! The staff were all friendlyand helpful. The only glitch we had in eating there was that I initially called to see if there was a wait. I had an event to beat so I needed to know the timing. The hostess told me she could not tell me the wait over the phone, that I had to go inperson. I told her I could not go in person because I couldn?t waste more time. She said she couldn?t give me the wait time, sowe hung up. However, I called back and asked to speak to a manager. I told him my situation so he told me he could accommodateus. Such a pleasant dinner experience last night, the food here is always so delicious. But last night was our first time... experiencing the sushi bar & we were not disappointed. We were first greeted by Freddy and he gave us some great recommendationssince it was our first time doing raw fish. The sushi he recommended was Amazing! Two other sushi bar chefs were so great aswell, Savaan and Codii were so easy to talk to and helped us choose dishes we liked. Codii and Savaan taught us about sushi andwere so gracious with answering questions and just making us feel comfortable during dinner? Update (Jan 2022). Don?t think I?ll be going back. The drive is far enough. The service was subpar the second time around. It... wasn?t a lunch rush or dinner rush, so no excuse there. Sushi was ordered was okay this time. This was definitely a surprise. Really good sushi. The rice consistency was good. The extra crispy gyoza, and the crispy shrimp tempura were also good. I liketo taste the roll how the chef wants you to experience it first, and the rolls we ordered has their own distinct taste. Reallygood. I just like mine with soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. The wasabi burns like it was supposed to burn. Overall it wasdelicious and will be going back to try other things. Read more

Almost always immediate seating at the sushi bar. We had several roles and shared a sake. All the staff was great, restaurant... was pretty busy especially as we were leaving. They do take reservations for large groups. Quickly becoming one of our go-to'sfor sushi, since Oishi's on Ashlan closed. Read more
