I walked in and waited for around 2 minutes for and assistance to be seated and for someone to greet me and no one did. As soon... as the next party walked in the door, they were greeted and seated. I still waited, the next person walked in and was like tablefor 2 and was seated. I then walked up and politely waved to be acknowledged after being invisible for 5 minutes. How rude!!!!The food was cool, the fries were advertised for being bottomless (and they weren't), and I asked the waitress for water butthat if it was tap water I'll pass, she assured me it wasn't and after I took a sip, it clearly was, yuck! I have been to this namesake before but at a different location. I was not impressed with this franchise. I'm sure with a little... elbow grease they could elevate their service. Food was yummy. Horrible service! Refused to seat family of 4 in any other seating other than the bar. We had a minor present and didn?t want to... have to subject her to that treatment! When we asked for accommodations, the hostess used the excuse of only having one serverand would not give us a wait time for when we would be able to be seated in the regular dining area. Instead, she rudelydismissed us without a single care with a simple ?bye?. As someone who works in customer service, I know someone who doesn?tlike their job when I see one and, boy, the hostess either needed a break or a new job. The Red Robin on Blackstone is great! Not so much the other Red Robin, had a bad experience and will not go back. But the Red... Robin that I'm rating, they do an awesome job! I brought my brother for lunch here. It is almost surreal for a national chain to be out of so many important ingredients! I... gave them a pass due to this recession and the outrageous gas prices. As for our lunch, my garlic mushroom burger was as alwaysgood. My brothers custom cheeseburger was as ordered. But what has really stood out was our hostess, Kayla. It's a good signwhen quickly greeted with a friendly smile. She's an asset to this franchise. I watched as she trained a new host during a busylunch time. Really good girl.
