Took the family out for breakfast on Sunday. We were seated in less than 5 minutes and we had our drink order taken in less then... 5 minutes. 5 minutes later our food order was taken, it took about 8 to 10 minutes for our food order to come to our table. Food was very good, I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Portions we big enough, we left satisfied. Thechicken and waffles we're very moist, I got 2 thumbs ????up. Service was excellent! Our order wasn't quite right, but we weren't Will ng to wait either. My wife ordered the quiche... Florentine but was served the quiche Lorraine. I had a cup of the French onion soup (outstanding!) and the pot roast sandwich(fairly tough meat). Will try this place again and some other items. Read more
It?s pretty good for the price, I could go here for a date with someone I?ve been dating for a while or hangout with friends.... It?s got an interesting selection of foods to choose from and I don?t think I?ve eaten something I haven?t at least liked. Thebreakfast food to the dinner food is all at least good. First time here for breakfast with a friend. We arrived about 9:30 am and there were several people waiting to be seated. We... were told it would be about 15-20 minutes. There were definitely empty tables, so it must have been a staffing issue thatday??? We decided to go ahead and wait and were seated in about 10 minutes. The staff member who was relieving the hostess forher break was very accommodating when we asked to switch from a table to a booth and that was much appreciated. Our server camepromptly and we placed our orders. It did take quite awhile to have cream for coffee brought to our table. It also took about20 minutes for our food to arrive after we ordered. The food was ok but not on par with the price point. My potatoes were dryand cold. And eggs were nothing special. Portion size was okay. The restaurant is charming, staff was good, food ok, prices abit high for breakfast ($16-$18) for French toast dishes. (About$14 for egg dishes) Read more
I really enjoyed Mimi's Cafe this time prior to the first time we went three years ago I vowed I would never go back and try... them again but with insistence of my son we did. I was very happy with the service the quality of the food the portion size theoverall experience was great. Big turnaround compared to my first time going there three years ago we'll be going back. Great breakfast! Had the corned beef hash and eggs and it was so good! The meat was superb. Service was really good and the... coffee wasn?t bad either. I?d totally recommend this place to others to check out if in the area needing a good breakfast. Read more
Went with a friend today who was very much looking forward to her turkey lunch. What a disappointment! Didn't mind waiting to... be seated, but after my friend received and did enjoy her French onion soup, everything was downhill from there. She expectedrolls with her lunch, and didn't get them. I had the egg white omelet, and still don't understand how it could be burnt, but itwas. The only thing good on my plate was the potatoes. My friend's turkey was thin, shaved pieces, not the nice slices shereceived in the past. She was so upset, she just got to go containers for her dogs and even got her lava cake to go. Servicewas slow from start to finish. She didn't tip. I did only because having worked as a server in the past, it's just a habit forme. But I will have to say the server didn't deserve it! Read more
