Stopped in after dinner in one of these hot Fresno nights. Wasn?t crowded at all which was nice. Great service and great ice... cream. While the kids loved the ice cream, I chose to enjoy a ?Brookie?, which is half brownie and half cookie. Nice to have aselection of both cookies and ice cream. We stumbled upon Marble Slab while In Opelika AL. They had a big game outside that kids or adults can play with a wonderful... covered patio and tables & chairs. What blew me away being from California was the ice cream. At 69 I have had ? Best? icecream around the world. I have a Cold Stone creamery blocks from me which is identical concept with a cold slab to mix add insinto ice cream. NO COMPARISON to Marble Slab. Marble Slab ice cream is Best of The Best homemade. Unique taste & texture thatlingers on your taste buds. We ordered 4 different kinds & each was superb. What stuck out was their Simple Cream or somethinglike that which is another type vanilla. When you can get such a mild tasting ice cream to jump out at you, now that issomething. UUM Good, I promise. The Double Chocolate to die for and Cotton Candy was over& above what you would think. Absolutely delicious! And the young ladles are so cute. My brother in law took his mom and I there to get us out of the house.... I had a one scoop vanilla (I know boring) with cookie crumbs and strawberries, in a waffle shell...It was a perfect size anddelicious! Can not wait to go again! Read more
