I stopped in several times while visiting in the neighborhood and tried to be friendly with the man (who obviously owns the... place) but not only doesn't he ever smile but he decided to verbally insult me besides. Personally, I always try to helpbusinesses by giving positive reviews, but I really disliked this particular character. Not only was he disdainful towards mebut he doesn't make a very good sandwich either. Read more

Owned by one of the friendliest person I have ever come across. It's a pleasure going to this outlet in Fremont. I have made it... a point to eat there whenever I am in the vicinity just for the sheer pleasure of seeing this smiling man dish out sandwichesand his welcoming behavior. Read more

Worst experience ever! Went there and asked them for 18 orders of sub (we prepared those subs for an event). We told two staff... that we wanted 9 orders of cold cut and 9 orders of ham, both kinds were 6-in. Easy to understand, right? First, the male staffmade me a sub with meatball, I pointed out that was not what I ordered, then he said he made that because he couldn’tunderstand me. WTF? If you didn’t understand the order, shouldn’t you double check with me instead of making a wrong one? Heseemed a little bit mad at me because he thought I am the reason that made him waste a sub. Then, after he finally chose theright meat, he made only 1 sub of each kind. I told him I wanted 9 orders of each (this was my third time saying that). Untilnow, the experience was just a little frustrating. For the next 25 minutes, two staff only made 9 subs (I ordered 18), whilethere were only 2 new customers coming in. My co-worker and I needed to go back to the event site first, so we asked them if wecan come back later since it’s not ready yet. They asked us to pay first, which was totally fine. We paid. Ten minutes later,I went back there, I haven’t said anything to him yet, he said, “You need to wait. Because we got new customers now.” Am Inot the customer and didn’t I pay? He changed his attitude completely after we paid, so I asked him how long it’s gonnatake, he said 10 minutes. I went outside and made a phone call, when I saw him put two bags behind the counter, I hung up within2 minutes, and I went in. He was talking on the phone with his dad? When he saw me, he started yelling at me and asking me why Itook so long and why am I being so mean to him. I was like...WHAT?!!!! Whenever I wanted to say something, he cut me off withhis yelling voice. As I was leaving with the food, he yelled “NO REFUND!” Read more

(btw I have never posted a review) I’ve been to this place 3 times, and this time it was bad. Last time that I went I asked... for my sandwich to go and without even asking me if I wanted a bag to go (which I always, if it’s an option, say no to bagbecause trying to help the environment somehow) he charged me for the bag. Every place that I’ve gone, if they charge for abag, they will ask if you want a bag and if you do it’s 10 cents. He just didn’t. This time I noticed that he was workingboth register and making sandwiches and I noticed, that yes, he does use different gloves for each sandwich, but he doesn’twash his hands in between register and making food. Then when it came to charging me, I told him I wanted it to go and that Ididn’t want a bag. My total didn’t come out to 7.99, it came to be 8.77, and then I saw the receipt and he charged me taxfor EAT IN. So I asked him why, and he said it was because my sandwich was warmed up???? I’m sorry but nowhere does it saythat just because you want it warmed up they’ll tax you. I work at a coffee shop and we only tax if you EAT IN, because it’sthe law. In the end, he got defensive, and I’ll never be back again. I honestly just asked because last time he didn’tcharge me tax just because it was a hot sandwich, and I always get a hot sandwich, he just charged me for the bag I didn’teven need. Also, I’m pretty sure he’s the owner, so that says a lot. Read more

Good food; terrible customer service. The elder man that assisted my friends and I essentially made our sandwiches without... asking for our preferences (items to include vs not to include). Worst thing was we were the only ones in the store. He seemedto be in a rush to get us out so that he could go back to the employee area. Read more
