How can anyone give this place a good rating?? I food is underwhelming at best! I?ve been here twice. Both times I was extremely... disappointed. Tonight (Monday) I brought in a 20% off coupon. The manager decided to charge us 30% more! Not only did they nothonor the price on the actual menu, they charged us extra for having a coupon!! The manager blamed it on ?COVID? pricing! 2small eggplant rollatini for $20!!!! I?ve been to wonderful restaurants all over Long Island never have we been treated sounfairly. Shame on them! Salad was not the salad on the menu, they didn't have romaine lettuce so they substituted for horrible letttuce instead of... telling our table and giving us the option. Our pizza was given to us cold as well as our rice balls we ordered. Place wascrowded and only 1 server with a bus girl. Went in on a quiet afternoon one one big table sitting in the whole restaurant. Only 2 ppl on staff upfront however and no one... at the bar. Wanted to get a cocktail and patiently waited for about 10 minutes for someone to appear at the bar, as there wereother patrons sitting having drinks and no one ever came over. I went upfront to the counter and was informed only 1 personthere that can make a cocktail or even pour a drink and he would be right with me. The server comes over then another fewminutes later to tell me the bartender isn't there and I need to wait another 15 minutes. I asked if he could simply just pour aglass of wine and he said ok but he had to take care of the one table first quick serving them coffee and would be right back.After waiting another 10 min, and him never coming back to the bar I left. Nice place, great looking waitresses,prices reasonable, could use more parking, only had a slice of pizza, heard one person... complaining that they didn't get there order right,but only one. Most of the people there were happy with their orders. Drinkprices were reasonable as well I was told from one of the people that had a few,with a fairly nice wine list.the band thatplayed were pretty good, got the crowd involved, were fun and entertaining. Good crowd, a little cold in the out back tent butgood ambiance. I would go back to try other dishes. My complaint was the pizza crust was break tooth hard, didn't care for that. Read more

The food and service at Montano Brothers in Freeport was just amazing! I called ahead a week before our travel hockey team was... going to be in the area for games to see if they could accommodate us. They enthusiastically took our info and told us not toworry. We ended up coming with almost double of our original number and they didn't hesitate to fit us comfortably and take careof everything. The food was delicious, reasonable and we had no leftovers! The staff hustled to take care of our large groupwith smiles on their faces. We had a great experience and will definitely be back when we are in the area! Read more

We got a sicilian pizza it was good. The crust was buttery and crunchy. The sauce and cheese was good. The service was pretty... good. A few slow moments. But overall great experience would return for the pizza. Still prefer a new york style thin crustpizza in the long run. Read more

We sat outside in the garden and it was a lovely experience. Live music and space heaters created a comfortable and lively... ambiance that was enjoyed for hours. The specials were fun and the drinks were strong. Excellent dishes all around. Highlyrecommend for traditional Italian cuisine and pizza.
