I had no expectations. By the time I left I had enough food to feed an army. Everything looks so good and delicious I'm glad I... picked up the chicken pot pie outstanding and I had a corned beef on rye. There were so many things to enjoy I had to controlmyself. Looking forward to going back again Read more

I ordered a turkey on rye with russian dressing and coleslaw. The turkey was very good, deli style kosher turkey. The rye bread... really stood out in particular. It was as fresh as rye bread can get and the flavor was a six out of five stars! This is realrye bread! Coleslaw was a little light in portion but what it lacked in quantity, it made up for in quality. The Russiandressing was a nice addition and really brought the whole sandwich together. Overall, the size of the sandwich was generous, allof the flavors were there and if they had used a home roasted turkey, this sandwich would be labeled as good as it can get. Fourout of five stars. Also, the pickles had a rather unique flavor to them. More of a half sour as apposed to a garlic flavor, butwith a floral kind of accent to them which really gave this sandwich a refreshing experience. Five stars on the pickles! Theknish was very good. The spinach knish was very fresh, with the right combination of spinach to potato ratio, the outer doughwas perfectly cooked, light but flavorful so give it a try. Four stars for sure! Also, they give a cup of stone ground mustardto dip the knish in which was very good quality. Bold, spicy and overall, a wonderful compliment to the experience. My finalthoughts are, Fred and Murrays is the real deal for sure. five stars! I had to edit this review as my initial critique saidboar's head meat. It is not. That being said , this was very good, quality meat and I cannot stress how much I enjoy thisplace! There is no substitution for fresh and this place brings it! Please don't hesitate to give them a try! Read more
