Reviews for Frankie Fed's Pizza-Pasta House in Freehold, NJ
I?ve been coming to Frankie Feds for what seems like forever. At least 20 years. The food was great. Over the last few years... (even before Covid) we stopped coming because the food just wasn?t the same. We gave it a try last night and it was like beingtransported to the Frankie Feds I remembered as a kid growing up. My family and I were ecstatic. The food was amazing and therewere some new menu additions (hot honey penne vodka with chicken was incredible) plus some old favorites. Every dish we had wasgreat. Really looking forward to start going back here regularly. Also for those saying the delivery version of their food isn?tgood? even the fanciest of restaurants foods don?t transport well. It would be like ordering food at a restaurant and waiting 20minutes to eat it after it gets to your table. Read more

Just moved to area and tried this place out. Highly Disappointed ?. Chicken parm sandwich was super small, half the size of... normal sub. Pasta dishes delivered in small to go containers, for $10 and $14 a pasta dish, extremely disappointed. Pizza isthin crust and toppings were minimal when received. $27 for pizza with eggplant and mushrooms???? I will stick with KrispyPizza from now on. Read more
What an awesome pizza place. Food looked delicious too, but I came for the pizza. I did not do my research before. I had no idea... that this place was similar to Frederici's in Freehold. Stumbled here accidentally because the name caught my attention and I amthrilled that I did. When ordering, I got the regular large cheese and, my newest "must have" is the Patsy pie. I will say, theoriginal pizza is still better at the original Fredericis. Biggest difference, to me, is in the crust. Maybe the ovens aredifferent here if they use the same ingredients. It's similar to the original, just a few notches lower. In my pizza book, Irate Frederici's a consistent 8.4 on the regular cheese pizza scale. I would rate this cheese slice a 7.6 which is still a verygood slice. Now, to the star of the hour, the Patsy Pie. Now THIS is a terrific tasting pie. They use Marinara sauce here, fresh mozzarella, and topped with basil. This pie was a HUGE hit. Couldn't even go back and eat the regular once I started withthe Patsy slice. Every bite was more delicious than the last. Cooked perfectly. Great flavor combinations that make my mouthwater just thinking about it again. Super fresh ingredients and the mozzarella hugs the crust to create a terrific consistencyin every bit. From what I was told, the vodka pie is also a big hit there so I have something to go back to try. For sure a musttry if you are in the area and even a pizza pie worth driving for. Patsy pie just became my new favorite in the immediate area. Was fortunate enough to have Matt as my server who entertained my questions about the relationships and history of this place vsthe original Frederici pizza of freehold. Broke down everything to me and clearly loves what he does. Rest of the staff was veryfriendly and courteous too. Went towards the end of the day with my wife and 2 kids and didn't know if I could get my kids tosit still. Called ahead a to go order which turned into a "we'll sit in and eat" order when Read more
No the actual place is pretty small by his self but they did do a lot of outdoor ceiling I don?t want to accommodate larger... crowds I could definitely understand why the crowds get large the pizza I would say on a scale 1 to 10 as the guy from barstoolI would give them an 8.8 if I was al presidente from barstool . We?ve had other food from here before and everything wasabsolutely amazing just like the pizza and the reason for a three and a four star review is when we got there I don?t find therestaurant very appealing I would definitely build onto the building more and not have so much outdoor seating.. I have a whitesauce of the week and else that you can put on their house salad and I?m gonna tell you the sauce is the next best thing isdances in your I think I ate the entire jar sitting between my pizza and the salad dressing was absolutely amazing Read more

We wanted to stop here to check it out since we have heard nothing but great things about it. We arrived around 4:15 on a Sunday... and there were only a few people there. We were promptly seated and served drinks. We ordered appetizers which showed up no morethan 5 or 6 minutes after we ordered them which was impressive. Then they put warm bread and butter on the table which wasabsolutely delicious. All we wanted was a nice fresh hot pizza that did not come in a box! Boy were we surprised! This has to beone of the best pies in the area! The flavors of the sauce cheese and spices were perfectly blended. The sausage added the finaltouch to a masterpiece of a pie! We will definitely be back to try any of the other options on their menu. Read more
Always great food. Highly recommend the pizza (so many great choices) and the toll house pie for dessert.
