We were told that they were in a rush. Ok no problem. They had reservations and the restaurant was almost empty besides 1 big... table in the corner. The waitress was not very friendly. She got our drinks. Our baby couldn?t drink out of hers because the cupand straw were taller than from the tray to her mouth. So milk spilt on her. We asked for extra napkins and got two. While wewere ordering she yelled at customers to go back and wait. Then about five minutes later she was upset with the large tablebecause the kids were singing a song. I didn?t think they were bothering anyone and it was very awkward. When we got our foodthe mac and cheese had burnt bacon and the nachos had items in it that wasn?t on the menu. That we absolutely would never order.We made sure we were finished before the big reservation arrived but had to wait for the waitress for a while. Good atmosphere, great service. The menu options were not very unique like some other restaurants, but what they offered they... did very well. I had the quarter chicken and the leg was smaller than what I'm used to, and my husband ordered Nachos which wasvery good, and shepherd's pie (also good). We would come back. Good prices too! We were visiting Fredericton for the first time. We prefer to dine locally (vs. big franchises that you can find anywhere). We... enjoyed our meal so much, we returned the next day for lunch!! Our first meal was dinner (and I remembered to take photos) Theseafood casserole was recommended and it did not disappoint. With large pieces of scallop, shrimp and white fish in a delicioussauce and cheese topping, it came with choice of potatoe (I chose baked) and seasonal vegetables...which I always anticipate asboring....but this was a yummy combination of julienned carrots, zucchini and peppers that had a great seasoning. My bf got theclub sandwich with fries and coleslaw. Made to perfection. And the slaw was a vinegrette dressing...not soggy, with the rightamount of tang! I appreciated that this restaurant also supports Canadian when I saw the French's ketchup. The house wine was aPinot Grigio by Copper Moon that paired well with my meal. And dessert!! The Sticky Toffee Cake...very sweet and the perfectsize to share (Too big to eat alone...unless you have a major sweet tooth!!) Our second meal, I didn't take photos...but themeals were equally delicious. Our lunch companion had one of their signature burgers and was quite pleased. My bf went simplewith a BLT and fries and was impressed. I ordered the Adult Grilled Cheese sandwich...loaded with rotisserie chicken, threecheese mix and dill pickles (grilled inside)...omg, so delicious! The new Bourbon Burger was cooked a bit more than I usually like and with a thin patty. However, the light char of the burger... mixed with the sweetness of the candied bacon and bourbon sauce was a nice pairing. The french fries were my favourite; a lightand flaky, but very crispy fry. The service was nice and the decor was quite stunning. I look forward to going back and checkingout some of their other dishes. A great lunch with the work crew. Read more
Food over all was great I had steak both nights,the waitress was amazing only one on and it was busy she rocked it.
