Our waiter Robert was fantastic. Very attentive and personable. The food is mediocre. The salad is greens with onion and a lot... of salad dressing. A few tomatoes, cucumbers, and or carrots would add color and flavor. They are known for their prime rib.It was OK as was the filet. For the price, we certainly expected to be wowed. Their prices are on line with Morton's and Ruth'sChris, but the cuts of meat and flavor are not. The seafood was very good. We had a fun group catching up and our waiter wasvery accommodating which made our evening delightful. Read more

The best prime rib I have ever had! It was juicy and so tender that it practically melted in my mouth. The dishes they offer are... limited, but all done so well. My husband got the whole lobster and said it was the best prepared he'd ever had as well. Read more

We went to Olde Towne Steak and Seafood with friends to celebrate a good friend's 60th birthday. It had been a first for some of... us and for some of our friends, well over a decade since they had been back. The food was fantastic! We all have very differentpalates and agreed the food was cooked perfectly to our requests. The service we received from our waitress was fantastic aswell. We never had to wait for anything. The owner also made her way to our table to ask about our food and service which youjust don't see happen any more. I think all of us would agree we will return again. Read more

An intimate setting in downtown Fredericksburg. Great for a dinner date with your special someone. Although somewhat pricey, the... food was delicious, and the dining experience was memorable. Definitely a place for special occasions. Read more

This place has excellent service (I'd say in the top 5% of the 'burg) and very high quality food. Do expect to pay for both of... them, they don't pretend to be "bargain" priced that I saw, and they definitely aren't. Great place for an important date, oran "impressive" business dinner. They do have multiple rooms and you can rent one out if your party size justifies it. Terrywas excellent! Read more

So disappointing! I once again neglected to check the reviews. Something told me to leave when I only saw two cars in the... parking lot. Where do I start. The fried shrimp came out suspiciously fast. Before I could even say anything my server says ?Iknow it was quick, but don?t worry they?re fresh.? Not bad. Coating could have been a bit crunchier. I ordered lobster tail andfilet mignon that came with a baked potato and salad, as well as a side of Crab Imperial suggested by the server. Just as othershave said the salad was just bagged iceberg lettuce on the plate strangely covered by one half of a dark green Romaine leaf, andsalad dressing. I ordered my steak medium. It came out well done. Thankfully so because it had no flavor and had a burnt taste.I?m not sure if they burned the bacon it was wrapped in or if they burned the butter. When the server asked if I wanted itrecooked I said no, knowing that it wouldn?t have been good even if it was the proper temperature. The Crab Imperial was asoupy, nasty mess. I wasn?t familiar with the dish when I ordered it, but the server suggested it. I should have declined whenshe said she couldn?t describe it. Easy. The words ?hot mayonnaise? would have been enough to deter me. This tired dish needs tobe put to rest permanently. The potato was hard. On two occasions I had to flail my arms to interrupt the wait staff chitchatting with the bartender so that they could get the server for me. No manager ever came out and apologized for my failedmeal. And, they tried to charge me a la carte after taking off the steak and Crab Imperial. I still haven?t eaten the lobstertail. To be honest, I?m scared. The restaurant itself has a nostalgic classic vibe, which I love. However, they give classic abad name. By the time I left, I was the only one in the restaurant. I don?t know how this place stays in business. Do yourself afavor and go to one of the many great restaurants in historic Fredericksburg. Read more
