Personally I think it?s over priced. The food was good but it tasted like any old hibachi quick stop. I?m not from the area so I... just did a quick search of hibachi near me and this came up. $22 for a hibachi plate is crazy, I at least expected a decentserving of veggies at that price but you can see what I got. Run. Run fast. Matter fact don't even think about going to this roach infested place. They charge all that money but the place... is filthy. After the nice chef was done cooking here comes a nice size roach charging after my plate. The nice chef is the onewho killed it with his rag he was clean the stove with. We were offered to move to another table. After allowing what had justhappened register I kindly gave the whole plate back. My boyfriend damn near finished his food so we paid for his food only andleft after they tried to charge $10 for the drinks.yea that most definitely didn't happen so we exchanged words then left. I called and the lady told me to hold and then hung up on me. I then called back and put in my order. When I got my food it was... the wrong order and there was long black hair all mixed in the rice and there was a piece of black hair on the yum yum saucecontainers. Been sitting here for 1 hour after order has been taken. Still no one cooking for our party. Was just told they only have 3... chefs. THREE! Utterly ridiculous. The Manager Sheila is terrible. She argued with me and screamed at me because I called about a soup spilling all over my entire... order from the way they bagged it and I am truly disgusted. The gentleman I spoke to was very nice and accommodating and thenshe called to scream at me. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I only wanted a refund for thesoup, didn?t ask for anything else. I?m sure others have had this experience. People like her should not be working in the foodand beverage industry. Wow. I am so impressed with my whole experience at Kobe today. This was my first visit! Honestly, I was about to go to the same... Japanese steakhouse I always do- but they weren't open (thank goodness haha) bc I called Kobe and they ARE open & offering thesame food, except BETTER! The service was also excellent. My order was hot, ready & absolutely delicious (with extra sauce)!Howie even threw in a dessert for my birthday ???? how sweet. You have made a forever customer out of me! ?? thanks again. They?re lucky to only receive a 1 star from me. The only good experience was with the cook and the taste of his food. The ?So... called Manager? who didn?t want to give his name but we was told his name was Phil was very rude, went out of his way to offendand somewhat assault me and my daughter needs corrective training or to be removed from his management position. My bill was $98and the only thing we wasn?t pleased with was their dry and tasteless sushi. The rice tasted old and the crab meat had an awfulaftertaste. I?ve had enough good sushi to know what a spider roll should taste like. When he asked how it tasted he was told wewasn?t happy with it and would like it taken off of our bill. He immediately became hostile, was loud and embarrassing, and toldus we have to pay while pointing his hands in our face. The whole time I tried my best to be calm with him even after hecontinue to be disrespectful. After I told him I would write him up he told us to get out and never come back! He continued toscream at us and finally after his performance was slightly over, he agreed to taking the sushi off the bill and once againcontinued yelling at us to not come back to his establishment.
