This place was unique and amazing! Leave your diet behind because this is definitely for a well-deserved cheat meal! We ordered... a cinnamon bun, (large biscuit w/ icing drizzle and whip cream and an Appomattox sandwich (fried and rich, filled with ham andcheese, topped with strawberries and whip cream best of both worlds! I couldn't believe how big theses plates were. Thewaitress was extremely nice and service was good- Side note: Way to much food, but so Yummmm! Read more

We were shopping and just needed to stop somewhere for breakfast really quick. We were greeted by Randy and then waited not even... 5 minutes before being seated. Randy was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We were asked to move tables so theycould accommodate a larger party, which was no problem, but the staff still showered us with cookies and cinnamon rolls formoving tables. Our food came out quickly and was really good! Definitely a great experience for a busy Saturday. Read more

My Bestie treated me here for my birthday. Great Customer Service lacked tremendously. Some of the food was good (waffle was... amazing), while the steak was not cooked well done (came out medium). Read more

Large portions, good food. They were out of creamer the morning I went, but the server was nice and I just used milk instead.... The hollandaise on my meal was broken, still tasty, but was perfect on my husband's. Read more

There is a lot of potential here, but the meal had a lot of ups and downs. First, the good parts? the sausage gravy was great! ... The potatoes and eggs had lots of flavor and were great too. Also the staff was very nice and attentive. Now for the not sogreat, although my biscuit was baked well, my wife?s came out doughy and neither had much flavor. The bacon was very limp andflavorless as well. My wife had coffee, and it came out luke warm. While we were there other customers also complained of underbaked biscuits and cold coffee. And the under baked biscuits show up a lot in other online reviews. They need to make theirmain biscuits smaller!! Stop going for shock and awe and focus on quality and consistency. All and all, I don?t see us comingback until they?ve made some changes. Read more

Customer Service was really good. My waiter was super friendly and let me know right away that they were out of alot of things.... She helped me pick my drink. I ende up getting the White Lemonade which was delicious. For my meal i ordered a deconstructedRappahannock ( Blackened Catfish, Sauteed Greens, fried tomatoes, fried onions with remoulade sauce) and a side of crabcakes. Iforgot what my friend ordered but it came with potatoes, eggs, steak (i think) and a biscuit. She also ordered the friedapples. Pros: The fish was super flavorful and juicy, the crabcakes were pretty thin but still good. My friends potatoes wereabsolutely delicious. I would go back just for a serving of those. Drink was good. Cons: The biscuit was sooo dry andflavorless. I was thankful that i had my juicy fish to eat it with cause if not I would not have ate the biscuit at all. Alsothe greens are served cold vs hot (kitchen verified) it kinda threw me off because I wasn't expecting them to be cold. The friedtomato was soggy ??????????????? Also my friend loved her plate except the fried apples. She said they were bitter and lackingflavor but they did take them off of our check. Overall the visit was pleasant and I would go back at least once to try otherthings. Read more

Cozy restaurant with a neat concept- the only bread that they serve is waffles...and biscuits. Friendly, attentive staff, with a... full bar and a patio in the back. All day brunch, great Bloody Marys. Right off the bat I looked at the cocktail menu andbrought up their "Bourbon Melon Bellini" cocktail which actually doesn't have any bourbon in it because it's made with Tin Cupwhiskey, but the bartender came out to talk to me and talk about bourbon for a while, so I hope they either switch it to anactual bourbon or call it a Whiskey Melon Bellini. I ordered a bourbon Bloody Mary and Scotch Eggs to start with, which wereboth great, then ordered the Old Dominion breakfast with scrambled eggs. The eggs were a bit over salted, which I didn't thinkwas necessary because they left salt on the table, but were made with plenty of butter just like I like them. The great part wasthat these were actual scrambled eggs - not made from egg mix The grits were some of the best I've had and were perfectlybuttery. The bacon was that perfect mix between crispy and chewy, and the biscuit was warm and soft, served with butter, applebutter, and jelly. My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs, which she really enjoyed. I haven't seen herfinish a meal that quick in a long time. I did try a few bites for myself and I really like it too. She did mention the eggswere a bit salty as well though. Overall I really enjoyed the place. The front of the house had vintage photographs ofFredericksburg, which I always enjoy seeing. Great job Fork N' Biscuit, you've made my short list, and I highly recommend thisplace to anyone wanting to check it out. Read more
