I don't toss this word around frivolously, however in this case. My experience at Cork and Table was amazing, the staff was... attentive, the food was amazing; the Butter Squash soup was a taste of fall in a bowl. The Sauteed "Wagyu" medallions melted inmy mouth, the mashed potatoes were perfectly done as were the green beans. My fiancee had the Asian Stew with Shrimp, she wasmore than impressed with the flavor profile and balance of the dish. Looking for a romantic or an evening out, I recommend Cork& Table every time! OMG! So good! Quaint location. Friendly and attentive staff made for a great date night. Scratch-made food and wine pairings are... on point. Crab and corn chowder is creamy and flavor-full. Tomato-Basel soup is hearty and rich. Bold-n-creamy bleu cheesechunks in the salad. Wagyu beef and garlic shrimp were perfectly cooked and 'melted' in our mouth. Scallops could use a tad moreflavor. Cheesecake is creamy and its carmel sauce is mouthwatering. Dark chocolate espresso pudding is well balanced leaving ahint of espresso flavor behind. Bottled wine to-go is relatively inexpensive. But you can spend more if your wallet is fat. ;-) Read more

The service was good. The waygu filet mignon was superb. The crab and corn chowder was much thinner than I expected, but the... flavor was good. The biggest disappointment was that tea is charged per glass. We did not know that and it was never mentionedto us, so it was a bit of a shock when the bill came. Read more

This is the first time my bf and I had been to Cork and Table, we wanted to try it for restaurant week. We especially liked that... they had a restaurant week menu with wine pairings. My bf and I requested that option so that we could try the wine pairings. All of our hostesses and waitresses had phenomenal customer service. The food was mostly good, but overall just okay. My bf'ssteak was ordered medium, but came out rare. In my opinion, the scallop entre that I ordered was a small serving (but that mayjust be me). I got 4 scallops with dressings. For each course of the meal, we were given a wine pairing with our food. Fordessert, our server brought us wine to go with it and a man who appeared to be a manager or owner, proceeded to berate thatstaff member because she apparently made a mistake by giving that to us. He did this in front of customers which was extremelyunprofessional. While we were there, he came back to the bar twice to drink on the job. We will never be back there because ofhim. Read more

We had our 38th wedding anniversary dinner there on July 28, 2022. It was the best meal I have ever had at any restaurant in... Virginia. We will definitely be regulars. Outstanding food and service. I am originally from New Orleans and have dined atAntoine's, Brennan's, K Paul's, and others. Cork and Table is right up there with the best. Read more

Had one of the best meals here last weekend. Crab and corn soup, smoked salmon and caper salad, scallops with spaghetti squash,... lamb chops, dark chocolate mousse - every bite was better than the last! This was my third time here and it's consistentlyamazing. Cannot recommend more highly! Read more

The food was excellent and the wine pairings were very good; not great. The minuses: paper napkins at this level of dining were... disappointing, one set of dining utensils for all courses is a shortcoming at this caliber of establishment, used the sameglass for multiple pouring of different wines. It is the small touches that set a restaurant apart from the competition. Read more
