Couldn?t find anything in town around 7 pm and ran into this amazing pizza place. I ordered Zhazilla and OM GOSH it was sooooo... good. It was very meaty and the flavor was so delicious. Best pizza in the hill country!! The crust is perfect, light and airy while crunchy. We had the Galatea and we are talking about... it again the next day wanting more, salty and fresh, it is so yummy. We also had the Roxanne and it was tasty with the perfectamount of chili to add some spiciness. We returned a week later and of course had the Galatea again! Oh my goodness. Who knew that Fburg?s best food was served out of a food truck? Fantastic halal pizza?..and the President salad... with dressing made from magical unicorn tears and the flavor profile of the perfectly caramelized but not cloyingly sweetpecans, fresh greens, pickled onion, shredded carrots and some type of divine cheese?.hit the mark! Update: After leaving the original 2 star review below (and contacting Prometheus Pizza via email), I received an immediate... response from the manager/owner, expressing his apologies, and wanting to correct the situation. He offered us a refund, butmore importantly noted that he would address the issue with his employees so as to prevent this from happening with futurecustomers. Mistakes happen, especially when employees aren't trained properly or paying attention. It happens. What'simportant is to have a leader/ manager who will make it right. I appreciate his prompt reply and his sincere effort to make hiscustomers happy. Original review: Flavor, seasonings were good. We ordered the margarita pizza and another one withpepperoni. We like the crisp, cracker like crust they have versus thicker pizza crusts . However, one of the pizzas was burnt(totally black) all along the top edges and the bottom. We picked up the pizza after a long day on the road and were famished. Unfortunately, we could only eat a couple slices of it. We plan to talk with management so that they can make adjustments tocooking times. Read more
Very nice pizza, fantastic location and ambience. We had the 'Hey Bob's pizza. Been here twice, and the quality of the pizza is... top notch. Perfect evening hangout around Fredericksburg. The BYOB makes it even better. Read more
Hot potato pizza was reminiscent of pierogi pizza from back home (just without the onions and loads of butter)! My pizza seemed... a bit dry and could have used some diced tomatoes/ other veggies, or more sauce/cheese, but maybe it was just this order;otherwise the flavor was good. Online ordering and pick-up were easy. There was outdoor seating available. The pizza was easily2 meals for a single person. Would definitely check this place out again to try a different pizza next time I'm in town. Read more
Went to Fredericksburg, Texas for a weekend retreat with my love. While there, we were looking for a place with outdoor seating... because of Covid, we didn't want to be too close to people and so... we found Prometheus Pizza! Boy... are we happy we did. Thepizza was perfect and the atmosphere is so relaxing and inviting. We stopped in around 7pm when the sun was just about to set,so the summer evening was starting to cool down. The 50's music, the lights, the food... it was the perfect date night. Theowner came out and spoke to us to make sure we were happy with our food ( Which we were), told us about the way he makes thedough, and he was truly so passionate about his food.???? We got the special of the day. A ?tartuffe? pizza. My wife and I thought it was really salty. Once I removed the pepperoni... the cheese and bread were actually pretty decent. I may have to give it another shot based on the excellent reviews, and yeswas disappointed. Read more
