We were greeted by Royal when we first walked in. He was very helpful with recommending different selections for our family. The... variety of choices here was very nice. Royal was helping several people at once, but was still making sure we were taken careof. We walked out with eight bottles of wine and signed up for their wine club. If you want wines from Italy while visiting Fredericksburg, your in luck! Cross Mountain is the only business to visit. The... proprietors bought Andreucci Wines from previous owners when the wife sold it after her husband died. The import license allowsthese Italian blends and varietals to be shipped directly to the United States under their label, as well as Cross Mountain anddba Andreucci Wines. Unfortunately a former employee is trading illegally under the old name, Andreucci, right down MainStreet. The wine will always be delicious while the drama unfolds and Cross Mountain slowly but rightfully defends any legalbattles. Read more
Was never treated so rude at an establishment. My husband and I came to Cross Mountain while in Fredericksburg for a glass of... wine. We were there on a Friday night, but it wasn't crazy busy. We walked up to the bar to order and waited 10 minutes. Weunderstood the staff was busy, and continued to patiently wait. After 20 minutes with the staff continuing to look at us,literally making eye contact, and still choosing not to help us, I was literally embarrassed. There was no reason they weren'tserving us other than they didn't want to. Upset, we decided to leave. Cross Mountain treated us absolutely horrible and I wouldHIGHLY recommend going somewhere else for a glass of wine. Highly disappointed. Read more
