Had the Vietnamese chicken lemongrass sandwich, and loved it!! Atmosphere is pretty basic, but the food was great.

We had gotten garden rolls from here before and they were great. I picked up 3 orders of garden rolls earlier & they smelled... rotten. Couldn?t eat any of them. Threw them all away. Won?t come here again! Read more

The summer rolls were good, but the spring rolls and the entree were like nothing I had ever seen. The crispy rolls were that... deep dark brown color you get when you refry something that?s already been cooked once. Texture was greasy and mushy; tastewas terrible. And vegetables in my entree were actually mushy. Liked overcooked frozen vegetables. Sauce appeared to be justsoy sauces poured over. Threw the entire entree and crispy rolls away. Read more

We had driven by this new Vietnamese spot a few times and I was eager to try it out. We ordered a Vietnamese coffee and coconut... bubble tea... both were refreshing on this hot day. We also ordered a few appetizers... fresh spring rolls, which were tasty andtheir basil salad (beef) off the chefs special menu. While I don't remember eating basil, the grilled beef was perfectly cookedand it was over a bed of iceberg lettuce, shredded carrots and cucumber. It was a great choice for a hot day. (We were so hungrythat we started eating the appetizers before I remembered to snap some pics!) For our main course we both ordered Bahn Mi. Ithas been ages since I had a gloriously flavorful Bahn Mi. I fell in love with this interesting melding of French and Vietnamesecuisine a few years ago and we had yet to find any Bahn Mi in any other local Vietnamese joint in Frederick. We ordered theVietnamese ham and the lemongrass pork and decided to do "splitzies" so we could each try both. They didn't end up having theVietnamese ham so the waitress asked if the Vietnamese bologna was ok. It wasn't like American bologna...it was like a slicedcold cut that was pork. The flavor was great and the pricing were excellent but in my opinion it was lacking filling. The meaton my grilled lemongrass pork tasted delicious but there just wasn't enough in there and I felt like I was mostly eating bread.I felt the same about Vietnamese pork Bahn Mi as well. We were full and happy but just would have liked more pickled veggies onour sandwich as well as a bit more meat. Otherwise they tasted excellent and we happily stuffed them down. The bathrooms wereclean. The waitress was friendly and checked on us; she did a nice job. There was beer and wine listed on the menu but weinquired and the waitress said they didn?t have it yet. Overall the meal was good and this was a nice lunch on a hot day. Iwould come back and try again and hopefully get a heartier Bahn Mi and perhaps try their Phô if t Read more

This is the first time I have not finished a bowl of pho in my life. The meat was cut too thick and therefore was raw in the... middle, the bean sprouts were at least a day or two past prime and smelled poorly so I didn't eat them. The broth wasexceptionally bland, maybe this is what "Americanized" pho would be, similar to what happens when you go to an Indian restaurantthat barely uses spices, an overall underwhelming and disappointing flavour. The garden roll was rolled in a way that wasreminiscent of how I would do it at home... Rather poorly; the shrimp in the garden roll had a slight smell as if it had beensitting out of the fridge for a bit longer than one would hope. Overall the restaurant presents well and the service was good, and it seemed clean. This was by far the most disappointed I've ever been by a pho restaurant. Read more
