Been to Gambrill Mt. Food Co. about five times now and it?s been great all the way around. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner their... dishes are always tasty and leave you waiting to come back to try something else. Particularly this trip we had the goat cheesefritters, bahn mi sandwich, and Brussels sprout salad, and they were all fantastic. We haven?t been there for the live music butI appreciate the emphasis they put in providing entertainment and supporting local artists. Read more
The food was excellent! Possibly the best cheese steak I've had in the DMV, a delicious pulled pork sandwich, and the mountain... of crab fries were all absolutely delicious. The service was very slow--from the time we sat to the time we were served was overan hour--but the food made it worth it. We will be coming back. EDIT: Second time through, and the food was just as tasty,although the service (while friendly) was still extremely slow. Read more
Great atmosphere and food. Something for everyone on the menu from Burgers to Beef Bulogi Bao Buns. Overstuffed is a good word... to describe the amount of meat (or plant based substitute) on their sandwiches. Reasonable prices, especially for the portionsizes. Plenty of table seating as well as seats at the bar. Take time to look at the artwork on the walls. Read more
Fabulous food, the service was really good and the ambiance was fun and light. I went for brunch and had the Corned beef hash... which was spectacular, we started with the crab and artichoke dip and the emoji mushroom appetizers, both were great. Overall agreat experience, they had open tables at 11am on a Sunday which is also a plus, the only downside is the price which is a bithigher than most other places in Frederick. The place looks very inconspicuous when you walk up, but once inside, feels a bit like a magic room. The service was excellent... and the food was absolutely fantastic, unlike anything I have ever experienced in food to be precise. We met the chef who wastrained at a French culinary school in DC. He really incorporated so many different flavors into something artistic and amazing. Read more
Cozy interior, nice and warm on this cold day. Nice selection of unique adult beverages. Brunch selection a bit limited but... generously sized. Monte Cristo a bit of disappoint as not traditional but does taste good. Hash was nice and huge portion. Loxwas nice - bagel so so- but comes with numerous sweet and tangy accoutrements. I visited for the first time on Wednesday after hearing good reviews about the food. The parmesan truffle fries were really... good! I got the chicken parmesan sandwich and it was good, but the star is definitely that fresh baked bread! I do believe thebiggest highlight for me was the hazelnut brownie porter they had on draft.
