Contrary to the other reviews, I've never had a bad experience here and I've been ordering from them a few times a month for... years. I haven't tried anything but their Chinese food so I can't speak on the other half of their menu, but I really enjoy it.Their portions are large and the price is reasonable. We always order a few appetizers (bbq pork and teriyaki chicken are ourfaves) with our entrees (try the crispy chicken special) and enjoy it family style with leftovers the next day. Give them a try! The food reminds me of home. Born and raised is southwest Philadelphia, and just moved down here about 4 years ago. I?ve tried... many Chinese food restaurants but none of them even come close to tasting like home. Charley?s is delicious. Won?t order fromany other place going forward! Read more
This is the second time we've ordered here. First time I got the orange chicken and came down with food poisoning. I thought it... was just a mistake. But this second time we ordered it November 12, 2021, and it is now November 14, 2021, I've came down withfood poisoning once again. I've thrown up the last 2 days. No temperature, no other symptoms other than being fatigue. So, atleast don't order orange chicken or shrimp low mein. Read more
Reading all the reviews, I was hesitant to go here. But after having their food... I'm impressed. The woman at the counter was... abrasive, for sure. But the food makes up for it for sure. I have never had hot and sour soup so loaded with mushrooms, pork,tofu, and everything! The egg rolls are amazing. Each has shrimp in them, for the price of regular egg rolls everywhere. Sometimes you are in the mood for greasy americanized chinese food. This is your place. It tastes good and its just what you... crave when you wanna cheat on your diet.
