Reviews for CAVA in Frederick, MD
Good place for healthy food that?s not totally bland. The black lentil in grain section is undercooked and very hard. Properly... cooked Lentils are very soft and tasty. The falafel were hard as if old. Bowl size is decent though. The servers behave as ifdoing a huge favor. Unfriendly! Would not explain properly if you have questions. Not everyone is expert at understanding howtheir servings/menu works. What I wanted was with avocado in the first place so when I asked to add they said extra $2. I wasconfused and ended up not having. If you can, definitely try Mejeh Mediterranean grill by interstate 15 north on Worman?s millroad. It?s amazing and so much more choices compared and much more flavorful! Read more
I loved the patio outside tonearm on the most. There were 2 cute sparrows who we fed pita bread too. The drinks were amazing. I... loved the food as well! Lots of healthy options. Kudos because my picky child ate all her food. Read more
If you?re looking for a delicious healthy option Cava fills all the stars. Choose lettuce then add rice, or lentils. You can... choose (3) sauce toppings: flavored humus?s, tzakiti, crazy feta. Then your meat/meatless topping, then salad veggies topping, then finally: your dressing. It?s goodness in your mouth. It?s my favorite place to eat, and very convenient. Walk up to thecounter, walk along the window as the staff builds your meal. The staff there has always been very pleasant the several timesI?ve been. Read more
CAVA is a genius franchise, the food is fresh and the line is efficient. Mediterranean / Middle Eastern healthy option
Super fresh food, price is incredible for the healthy food that is available. I love having a colorful plate! Only complaint I... have is the friendliness of the employees, you have to ask several times for the toppings to be applied, and they don?t look atyou at all. It comes off extremely rude how snippy they are. Don?t seem very happy to work here. Besides the employees, thumbsup for food. Read more
Food was delicious. Did a group lunch order for our office, so this was my first time trying them, tho I've had other... build-your-own Mediterranean bowl dishes before. Definitely one of my favorite meal types. Dishes are filling and healthy. Withso many toppings you have so many flavors, colors, and textures in each bite. Everyone's bowls looked so different thanks to allthe customization options. I also got the blueberry lavender sweet tea that was very nice, the flavors aren't overwhelming, seemvery natural with just a subtle sweetness. The order did take a bit of time to arrive and was missing the free pita chip sides,But that may have been an issue more with the Uber person vs the store, not sure, and wasn't a major deal. Edit Again: Botched my online order and seemingly randomly mixed the contents of the bowls. Then proceeded to give me the most... burnt meatballs. No longer coming to eat here. Three failures in a row. Edit: lowering score as past two experiences havebeen sub par. Stale pita bread, cold order, and stingy portions. Always enjoy going to Cava. Have never been disappointed. Ido wish they would allow you to use your gift card when ordering online. Seems a bit antiquated in today's world that youcannot. Read more
I absolutely love CAVA, by far one of my favorite fast casual restaurants out there. We stopped at this location on our drive... from Delaware back to the Midwest and loved it. My only complaint was the building itself, it?s not very intuitive where to gowhen you walk in due to the weird architecture and awkwardness of the stairwell. Doesn?t take away from how great the food is. Ialways do a build your own bowl with mixed grains and greens. I added the harissa chicken and all of the dips and veggies. Sogood every time, highly recommend. Read more
