Best rye bread for smoked meat

Chartrand's has been here for a very long time. A old fashioned country bakery. They make a variety of breads, my favourite is... the baguette. Their other loaves are all tasty but I prefer crusty style bread and theirs are not in that style. There is a widevariety of frozen pies, tourtiers, quiche, chicken, etc....all delicious. There is also cookies and pastries, again, all verytasty. There make a selection of fresh sandwiches every morning and they are excellent. No interior or exterior eating. Limitedparking but everyone is just in and out so parking is not usually a problem. Staff are very friendly and will take time toexplain a product if necessary. A local icon and well worth the stop. Delicious pastries, pies and bread! The mille-feuilles are to die for as is the maple syrup pie. I?ve died and gone to heaven!
