Will NOT be returning. My husband and I were really excited to try this place. He got the 1/2 rack of ribs with potato salad and... beans. I got the 3 meat dinner with pulled pork, chicken, and brisket with corn on the cob, toast, and mac and cheese. Eventhough the meats were decent, there were WAY more negatives. 1) rib meat was VERY fatty. 2) no sauce- both containers even said"need sauce"...we got none just dry meat. 3) potato salad had a bad taste like it was spoiled. 4) the toast was bread doused inbutter not toast. 5) the corn on the cob was not fresh. It had no salt no butter and was mushy. Tasted like the frozen cobs youcan buy and then they let it sit for hours. 6) the Mac and cheese I swear was FROZEN SCHOEFFERS Mac and cheese. I am 100% sureon that. VERY DISAPPOINTING meal and cost us $50. I highly DO NOT recommend. Read more
Place was pretty much empty which was sad. 3 meat platter was more than enough and came with two sides for $20. Brisket and... pulled pork was real good with the BBQ sauce provided. 3 sauces available, and smokey was great. Kind of hidden in a smallstrip mall. Read more
Delicious Pulled Pork Sandwhich and their BBQ Ribs are to die for! They have a variety of special sauces to chose from, my... favorite is the Hot Spicy BBQ! Love love Love their homemade pickles! Best coleslaw in town. Mac and Cheese is yummy too!!! Myfamily and friends all started coming here since I picked up food for a family gathering. They all went back because it was thstgood and it?s light, fresh, not fatty and excellent quality of meat! Keep up the good work Billy Sims! Read more
First time to Billy Sims and have to say that it was very good. The BBQ chicken sandwich was fantastic. Only regret is that I... didn't get 2 cups of the sauce. Friend had the massive potato. That was also excellent. Will definitely be back. Read more
First and foremost I have to start with Brian and his wonderful staff they have outstanding customer service. Love all the... smiles. Now if the staff wasn't good enough, the food blew us away. Everything was absolutely perfect. We got the choppedbrisket sandwich and a side of hot links fabulous. . My son got the 2 meat oh yeah can't go wrong with that. Everything wassooooo GREAT... Ordered a half pound slice brisket. Extremely dry and not flavorful at all. It was so dry I had to ask my co worker to taste... it just to see if I was being over critical. The response omg that is so dry!!! Maybe it was a bad cut , but if it wasn?tI?ve seriously never had brisket this dry. I had to take a drink of water after every bite just to get it down . Just a followup . I called and was told they would remake my order . The replacement was better , but still not what I would call great . My guess is they trim off too much of the fat during smoking so the meat gets dried out in the process. The replacement alsocam with a toasted bread , pickle and red onions , something the had neither of . The highlight is the workers are extremelyfriendly. If you are not a true BBQ foodie this place may be ok , but definitely not recommended for people that haveexperienced great BBQ. Decent counter-order BBQ franchise. The place was clean and employees were friendly and accommodating. The dining area was... quaint and I imagine if busier would be a bit much. I genuinely liked my pulled pork BBQ salad, although I know most peopledon?t go to BBQ paces for a salad. The other meal ordered was a chicken sandwich which came with a a sliced chicken breast and aside of BBQ sauce. Our dinner was $20 and I felt that fairly priced, even a bit cheap for my salad. Overall, It wasn?t bad, butit wasn?t GOOD, it was fine ??????. I?ll go there again, but my companion said he?d not recommend it. Read more
The ribs were very tender and cooked just right, the brisket was pretty good, but the star of the show was the pulled pork. The... flavor on the pulled pork was so good. The bbq beans and chili were delicious. The chili had what I'm sure was pulled pork in itrather than hamburger, great choice. I appreciate that they give you sauce on the side. In my opinion, that allows the flavor ofthe meat to shine. Will definitely be dining here again. Glad there's one closer to us. Read more
