UPDATED REVIEW 10/27/2022 Supply chain issues must have resolved somewhat because the size of the chicken quarters was much... bigger than on a past visit. Everything was very tasty but a little too salty in the breading on the fried chicken. UPDATEDREVIEW 2/1/2022 Came in for Nashville Hot Chicken week and ENJOYED the Fowl Mouth sandwich. It was a large boneless thigh with agood amount of spice/heat and fresh cut fries. Worth getting it even if not on the hot chicken week special. I was reallystruggling with the star rating as it deserves more than a three because of the taste of the food, but fell short of a four dueto the value for the money. The chicken tasted really good, as did the side of white beans and collard greens, but it was theabsolute smallest leg quarter I have ever seen, especially for the price. Perhaps it was just the luck of the draw to get such apuny leg quarter, and I'm willing to give it another chance because the food did taste really good. I did not find Waldo. I did try his foul mouth sandwich. After asking about the heat level, they suggested the hot oil on the... side so I could make it as hot as I wanted. I tried the sandwich without oil and the chicken and jalapeno slaw was awesome. Ithen drenched it in hot oil. Yummy! The skinny fries were great. Fun Name made me stop in! The friendly staff did offer to have me taste their homemade Lemonade. I tried it but didn?t order any... since it simply didn?t taste that good. In the Summer I like to enjoy fresh squeezed! Sadly, this just tasted like mix. I wasthen offered the Fruit Tea. It was certainly better then the Lemonade but still not the Southern Fruit Tea I like. However, Idid order a small cup of it. I also ordered the chicken sandwich and macaroni and cheese that the cashier suggested. The foodwas just ok. I would eat again but not make a special trip to do so. I did like that they had outside private seating. The onlyproblem was that there wasn?t a garbage can or a place to put silverware or dishes. Even when walking back in nothing waslabeled. I prefer to clean my area when through. Having to walk back into the ordering area was confusing. For Beer fans notworking, they were having Happy Hour with Beers half price. They did have many other food options to try as well. If you happento pass by by one you may want to try for yourself. First time... going to this wonderful cluckery y?all know my rules first time if it?s good 4 stars ??. I order a 4 piece tender meal with bbq and it came out with several smaller pieces and Buffalo sauce. I didn't feel in the mood... to question anything so I went with it. The chicken was good but since the pieces were smaller they didn't have a ton of meat,and I'm not a Buffalo sauce lover so I ate the house Waldo sauce and it was really good. Fries weren't my favorite, really smallshoestring type. I got an order of Mac n cheese just to try it out. The Mac was good but the quanity for the price it wasn'tworth it in my opinion. I paid $12.06 (4 tenders with 2 sauces and a side) for these tiny school cafeteria-like tenders and a side of coleslaw. I went... inside to get my order and asked for a side of the 'comeback sauce' in addition to my ranch and honey mustard. The coleslawwas okay but it was interesting since it was decently spicy. The honey mustard wasn't terrible, but the comeback sauce I askedfor appeared to be the same exact thing as the honey mustard. The chicken was tolerable but it was almost too salty/peppery,though it was not dry. Overall it was a mediocre meal and I will not be going back. I would recommend anyone who looks atthese reviews to not even bother with this place if you're coming here just for the tenders. Maybe give something else a try. Read more

Been wanting to check this place out for a few months. Stopped in on a weekday and was immediately impressed with the sweet... scent of fried chicken. The young man at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The food itself is wonderful. The tendersare breaded perfectly and seasoned well. The fries are the perfect level of crispy and the mac and cheese was creamy. I willdefinitely be back. Read more
