The overall ambiance of the restaurant was great. Great candle lit table settings, very nice interior look all around. A really... great atmosphere. My wife and I had our meal at 6:00 pm on a Thursday night. It was still extremely busy at this time. Ourwaitress did on "okay" job of keeping up with us. Some extra attention would have been nice. We had an appetizer that arrivedwithin minutes, and was delicious. My wife ordered the prime rib with a martini. I myself chose the filet with a gin. Drinksarrived just before our food which was perfectly timed. We could tell our plates hadn't been sitting for 10 minutes waiting forsomeone to bring it out. My wife's prime rib was ABSOLUTELY melt in your mouth, SMACK YO MAMA DELICIOUS!!! My filet on theother hand, was a little bit more charred on the outside, and the flavor, well it just wasn't there for that cut of meat.Overall we had a wonderfully pleasant experience, and I would say without hesitation will return for another visit. The LITERAL best food I have ever ate! My husband agrees. From the moment you walk in and take in the beautiful ambiance then... to be seated. Definitely big advice MAKE A RESERVATION or you will be waiting but they are very prompt on getting you seated atyour reservation time. Food is cooked to perfection, mouth watering just everything melts in your mouth. Smaller menue but stillgreat variety. Service is amazing, food amazing, come dressed up or down and they treat everyone the same. Fine dining and wellworth the quality of what you get when going to to this restaurant. We had an amazing dinner with our family at J. Alexander's Restaurant. The salmon dip appetizer was devoured by our adult kids,... and my pecan encrusted trout with a side of roasted beefsteak tomatoes was delicious. Our waitress was delightful and helpful. Read more
Valentines date night was spot on! Had the best experience possible. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere were all amazing.... We can't wait to return for more. We were seated by the fireplace in the enclosed patio area, very romantic and warm. The salmondip was delicious. Steaks were both cooked correctly and tasted delicious, along with the sides. Drinks were top tier as well,very smooth. Read more
