It has a really homey feel and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The food is amazing and the portions are generous for... the price. Whatever you order, make sure you try the tomato gravy. Read more

The menu has completely changed. So sad! A lot of people here are sharing the same sentiments. Maybe the new owners should think... about that. One person had a review about his table being dirty and found a hair in his food and the food was cold. Ownerresponded ?I wish you had said something ?. Who said he didn?t say something. You all had alot of regulars and because of thatyour reputation had people coming in from out of town. And in the reviews they?ve complained. It?s such a huge bummer. We use tolove going there. Im sure the old owners would be heart broken. As they said the new owners were going to keep to the heart ofthe restaurant Read more

This is the absolute cutest place I've ever eaten breakfast! We knew we were in the right place when we saw the "Community Table... of Wisdom", which was also labeled the "Grumpy Old Men"'s table. The staff was incredibly helpful as we were out-of-towners andhad no idea what to order. Our server was so helpful that she brought us just about every kind of sauce/topping you can imagine.I can't find the name of what I ordered for breakfast, but it contained a shredded biscuit, bacon, grits, cheese, poached eggsand came with tomato gravy. I was skeptical at first just because I had no idea what in the world tomato gravy is. Don't beskeptical! Just try it! Our server brought me a side of it along with regular sausage gravy in case I didn't like it, but Iabsolutely loved it! We had no wait at all when we got there and we would visit again in a heartbeat if we found ourselves inthe area again. I highly recommend the Country Boy! Read more

I came here hoping that my friends and I could share a good meal and have a good time. When we were seated we observed that the... table had not been cleaned from the previous customers. The service was incredibly slow and when our food finally arrived wefound all of our meals to be cold. One of my friends found a strand of hair in the yard work meal. Overall I am extremelyunsatisfied with my visit and will not be returning. Read more

This is a great place for breakfast! If you like the feel of an old breakfast diner and a traditional southern menu, The Country... Boy is perfect. The staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, gravy and biscuit. The blueberry pancake is also one of my favorites. When you?re done, take a walk to a few of the shops next door or visit theart gallery across the street. This is a perfect stop! Read more

We went here on a Sunday morning around 1030. Had to wait 40 minutes but we were able to walk around the town shops while we... waited so it went by fast. Our server was great, very funny! The food was excellent...try the beer cheese dip appetizer forsure. Ok, that was an odd breakfast choice but we had to try it. Read more
