Seems to be a popular place. Party had broccoli cheese soup and potato soup. They were out of the bread bowls. Soup was good and... warm but nothing special. Had the grilled chicken salad and muffaletto. The salad was ok, the chicken is just a cold lump ofsliced breadt on top of a garden salad. The muffaletto was good. The olive spread they used on it was good. Note: everything isserved in throw away or to go containers. The cutlery is plastic. The outside seating in on a small creek which you can see ifsitting by the rail. We saw a woodchuck in the bushes. Inside seating also available with heaters. Read more
Love this place. I come here for lunch evertime I'm in Franklin. I get the turkey sandwich and it does not disappoint. It's so... nice to sit by the creek. Highly recommend. Read more
Good seating. No wait-time. Consistently good food. Excellent iced tea, that never ran dry. Friendly staff. Their only... shortcoming- is parking, but I could benefit from some extra walking anyways. Read more
Here for lunch. We waited a while for service. We ordered soup and sandwiches. The chicken salad was delicious. My grandson... special ordered his sandwich due to food allergies. When the sandwich came the sandwich had not been modified. He had taken twobites when he realized it. We called the server and she took it back and shortly thereafter came the correct sandwich. Onecannot fool around with someone with food allergies. Aside from the delicious chicken the food is mediocre and the service couldbe better. Read more
We stopped for lunch as we were traveling through the area. Great local place with nice folks. You could sense that this was a... local favorite of a lot of people. Great atmosphere and the food was really good and very reasonably priced. When we passthrough this area again, we will definitely stop and eat here again. Read more
An excellent sandwich shop with other light fare. Mainly covered, outdoor seating. We arrived at 11am and had no issues. During... peak lunch times, we highly suggest you phone in your order and do pickup. Parking is extremely limited during lunch, whichsubtracts from an otherwise great experience. Highly suggest the Veggie Sandwich (a yummy 6" sub on whole wheat) with a side oftheir yummy potato salad. Top it off with a slice of Key Lime pie. Wonderful dining experience on decks overlooking the creek. The food was excellent. We had soup and 1/2 sandwich. The broccoli... cheese soup was hearty and flavorful. The ham and cheese sandwich best I've ever eaten. How do you make a simple sandwich atreat? Creekside does. Strawberry cheesecake very good, the strawberries weren't buried in thick sugary gel like many places.Our server Tina was a joy, genuinely friendly. Kurt and Rick do a great job with how they run their restaurant. My wife Nancy and I have been eating there for over 20 years... and we have never had a bad experience.
