I understand the staffing shortages but I'm not a fan of the restaurant closing off 2 of their 3 sections and then sitting 70... random people on top of each other. They had 3 or 4 waitresses. I don't need nor want to eat like that. Food was decent. Service was good. But they could've put all 70 of us across the 3 sections and we would've all enjoyed our meals. Read more
Ordered 2 meals at 5:20, didn?t receive until 6:10. Was on hold for 5 mins to let them know we were there to pick up. Received... very few fry?s and the steak was burnt but ordered medium. Read more
I really need to start the habit of inspecting my pick up orders every time. The veggie plates were standard Cracker Barrel... fare, but the biscuits and cornbread were worthy of the compost heap. I was looking forward to some good cornbread. Oh well. Read more
We came around 1:40pm on a Saturday with a party of three. We were seated right away. Tyra, our server, was excellent. She was... super attentive and exceeded our expectations. The manager came over as well to check in on us, which I love to see because itshows everyone on the team works to make the experience a great one. The food was delicious and hot, and everything was correct.We have no complaints. Thanks for the great meal! Read more
This experience gets 2 stars, and that?s only because the server was excellent. Aside from that, the food was mediocre at best.... We had 9 in our party so we had a good size bill. The bacon was underdone, so we asked to have it cooked a little more. Thesever offered to just get a new order. When she brought it out, we found out that the cook was a smart aleck, because the baconwas fully burnt. Some of the other meals were poorly cooked or food that had been sitting for while. Like any other restaurant, they are staffed with only the dedicated employees chose to come in. Given the fact that they're... running at 30% staffed, they're doing awesome! We received excellent, down-home, Southern hospitality today! I had the friedchicken, my wife had chicken and dumplings, which were fantastic! My chicken was delicious but I would have liked the chickento have had a little more flavor to the breading, that's my personal preference. After dinner, we spent 30 minutes in the giftshop, finding goodies for the kids! Read more
