As we were traveling & stopped for gas, I googled local restaurants. What a nice surprise! Located at a country club. It was... welcoming and casual. Very peaceful view of the golf course. Very good. This was our first time there and was also our wedding anniversary dinner. Service was excellent as was food. our... waitress brought us a few samples to try my favorite was the peanut butter bourbon. Definitely get a pretzel. Only thing waswhen we left my wife wouldn't stop at the practice range on the way out for me to hobble myself out of the passenger door of myown truck (did I mention the free samples?) Big Woods was great! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The nachos were probably my favorite, not... overloaded but just right with toppings. Also they have beanblossom cider which I had never had before but now may be myfavorite cider! Read more

Extremely disappointing and sad! Ordered the Spicy Bacon Ranch Burger, which was not warm to begin with. The cheese wasn't... melted, means the patty must've been cold when they put the cheese on it. Only one tiny measly peace of bacon on it. I actuallycounted the fries and it was a total of only 14! Ridiculous. Bread Sticks were white as they can be and tasted doughy. Thecheese dip looked like it was the reheated cheese somebody else left over. Just disgusting!! The pizza looked so awful, i didn'teven wanted to share a picture. Lesson learned ... I will never go back there!! Go to any fast food shack for better food! Read more
Beyond fantastic service from their friendly staff. A lot of beer options to choose from on tap and their food is absolutely... awesome every time I go here to eat. The pizza is fantastic with a 10” or 16” option (16” pictured). Definitely willrecommend when others ask where to eat in the area. Read more
We had an "ugly Christmas sweater" dinner/get-together one Saturday night. We were able to secure a table via reservation and... we're seated right away. Our server was very attentive and the food was great. Every person enjoyed what they ordered. I will begoing back again to try some of the other food I saw on the table. The price included at least two drinks per person. Read more
