We stopped here on a Friday night and this place was so fun. It was karaoke night and the dj did a great job bringing the bar... into it. Service was not so great but these are hard times to find help especially in this area so I have them a pass. I willdefinitely be back next time I'm in the area. Read more

They denied our group service this weekend. We had a group of 9 that entered the establishment and said they couldn't... accommodate a group larger than 6 although the place was less than a third full. We have been all over the state and neverheard anything like this. It was like the minute we walked in, they decided we were not going to be served. On the plus side,we went to several other places that night that welcomed our business and we will be telling our friends. I would notrecommend this place to anyone!!!! Read more

We didn?t even stay! We had walked into this bar and grill at the same time as a few must have been locals. They walked and sat... right down so we just kept walking in and sat down on their outdoor patio (which was beautiful, super bummed I didn?t feelcomfortable enough to stay). We waited for a little bit and were enjoying the atmosphere when a woman with dark hair came outand said ?I guess you didn?t see the please wait to be seated sign?? We felt terrible and must have missed it because we walkedin with a group. We apologized and she stormed off and came back out with menus. I decided I didn?t feel comfortable eating hereanymore and promptly told her we wouldn?t be dining here anymore. She stormed off again. I am so glad we did decided to leave. It?s clearly a local bar that doesn?t enjoy tourists. I was never rude to this woman in any way. When we walked out we lookedaround trying to find the please seat yourself sign it and it was in an odd location. Honest mistake, and I apologized. Read more

We had the BEST time at Villa Marine this weekend! Sue and her staff were extremely accomodating as we had over 100 people... singing karaoke the night before our wedding. I've never seen servers work so hard in my life, and they were patient andeasygoing the whole time! We so appreciate them and hope that you will check out this gem of a dive bar in an amazing location.Great food and drinks! Check out the back patio if you want a view of the marina. Read more

We were on a day trip along the Northern Lake Michigan coast to visit some of our favorite little summer towns during the... winter. It's almost as beautiful in the winter and still holds it's charm. Even though it was a Saturday, the quaint shops andattractions are generally closed during the winter months. Which leaves sightseeing, drives through the wooded countryside withwildlife popping up here and there and the beautiful beach to explore and admire. Lake Michigan has a way of beckoning you to itand we found ourselves a way down to the beach for a long walk on the cold, windy, beautiful beach! Before heading back home, weneeded to "re-fuel" and chose Frankfort, MI as our place to stop. We decided to find Main Street which is where almost ALL therestaurants and stores are located in this quaint little beach town. We found this nice pub/restaurant to try. To my delight, way through to the "back"the of the restaurant which faces towards the water and Marina, there were a few tables with largewindows. These tables where next to the door which led to the outdoor seating area. It would be a beautiful and romantic spot toeat in the summer during, which provided cover from the hot sun in the day. At night, they had "market lights" which would dimlylight the eating area overlooking the Marina and you could hear the waves of the beach nearby! The restaurant prices are reasonable, I realize that term is relative and different for everyone, but they were "middle of the road pricing". We choseMexican meals that were perfectly seasoned, made with fresh ingredients (always impressive during the winter months) and theportions were so large we easily had two meals a piece out of our selection. The menu is VERY LARGE and the variety of choiceswas impressive. The bar beer, liquor and wine selections were a bit pricey. Especially the wine!!!! I just wanted a glass ofRiesling, bottled from Traverse City, MI and it was $12+ a glass! You can go to Meijer grocery store and Read more

Stopped in for lunch. Kinda dark inside, had a "dive bar" kind of feel at first. But the staff were super friendly and... welcoming. Food was tasty, came out quickly, and prices were reasonable as well. Read more

We had wings and pizza. Arrived in good time and server was good. The restaurant has a great waterfront view and plenty of... seating. Two negatives...price is high. You can get pizza at the brewery for less, as well as other menu items. There was alot of foul language loud enough to be heard in the dining area coming out of the kitchen. Kinda puts a damper on date night. Read more
