We got there at about 3:45 p.m. and it wasn't that busy. It was a little strange that one person seated us and got us our... drinks, someone else asked us if we needed drinks when we already had them, and yet another person was the one who took ourorder and served us the rest of the time. Haha. We ordered the brisket, pulled chicken platters, and kids mac and cheese. Forone of the platters we were swapped out the default sides of cole slaw and baked beans for mac and cheese and crinkle fries, butall four of these sides we had were delicious. We ordered 2 Sonny's Sampler Platers and they were really good. The price was reasonable too. Traveling and decided to stop in... and try it out. Glad that we did too! Very Good Bar-B-Q! I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Theportions were decent sizes too. I spend $60 for my wife and I. The only thing I didn't like were the donut holes/appetizer.. Itcame with 1 small thing of powered sugar. That's enough powered super for a couple donut holes. It definitely wasn't enough forthe order. So, they're pretty much garbage. Wasted my money on those things. I wouldn't recommend them. I'll show you a pictureof them, so you don't order them and make the same mistake that I did. They might be good if you eat them while waiting for youfood. But, we got our food then had to wait on the appetizer after receiving our food. (Not impressed with the donut holes.) SEEMY PICTURES FOR THE EXAMPLE OF WHAT NOT TO ORDER. If you look at all my pictures you can see what I mean. I still gave 5 stars,because the rest of the food was so good. But, if I had to do over... I would have talked my wife out of ordering those donutholes. Went for a retirement party. I'm vegetarian, so not my typical restaurant. But had a good baked potato, fried pickles, and BBQ... salad. Enjoyed a couple cold Sonny ales as well. The service is what stood out. We had a group of 25 and the staff did afantastic job. Kudos! Read more

Excellent barbecue and service. Personal favorite is the pulled pork... Everything very tender and flavorful. Although the... serving sizes are smaller than a few other BBQ places I've frequented, the prices are lower so it all balances out. Domesticdraft beers are super cheap during happy hour. Read more
