Great selection of wines and other spirits. My wife and I went there along with some of her friends for a birthday, and did wine... tastings. You get 6 samples for $10. I tried the Pineapple Rosé, Cherry Hard Cider, Sweet Nancie Raspberry, Lemonade Sangria,Native Root Red, and finished with a Cask Strength Bourbon. I liked all of them, but the cider and the sweet red wine were myfavorites as they were quite tart. The rosé was a nice balance of sweet and dry. The sangria was probably my least favorite,and the bourbon was very smooth. Prior to the wine tasting, I have enjoyed several other their products on other occasions,including the PB&J (one of my favorite wines), Desire, and Sweet Revenge, as well as a few others. Read more
We go to Frankenmuth 2 or 3x a year each time we stock up on wine. We are both sweet wine drinkers. (The bottle of white... Sangria in this photo is old we found) all of these are good for a sweet wine lover. My husband also likes Head Games originaland I like Sweet Revenge. Wonderful place. Wine was great (as always) and the ciders were amazing! I usually don't like ciders because of the beer after... taste, but these ciders didn't have that at all! I will be back to any St. Julian I am near whenever I visit Michigan! Read more
I've never been one to care for wine, but Covid changed all that for me. I enjoyed my visit to St. Julians. The staff was... friendly, and Janet did a great job explaining the wines, the wine ordering program, and helped me choose flavors I enjoyed. Itcost $10 to sample 6 wines, but if you join the club it's free. I do have to say that the hard ciders were my absolutefavorite; especially the cherry. I could drink myself silly everyday because it was that good. ???? Needless to say, I joinedthe wine club and will be back for tastings and of course a refill on my cherry hard cider. Read more
