Joey's Pizza is the absolute best pizza you will ever have outside of New York City. I've had many, many great pizzas in... California, id like to believe that I make an okay pizza myself, but this establishment far and above, blows everything elseI've had on the west coast away. My friends and I routinely purchase at this place, despite living the stronger portion of 40minutes away, and we've never regretted it. On a side note, I've seen the owner on two occasions cut special deals, one for adestitute people and one for a kid who was a little short in the pocket. I dont know if that's something he's keen to advertiseas a businessman, but as a person I find that attitude and behavior extremely commendable and while I'm sure his business isdoing well I think people should know what quality of human being he is. Amazing pizza!! So delicious and cheesy. Like commercial style cheese that stretches with each bite. The crust is soft and yet... the pizza bottom has a crunch. I mostly get plain cheese or pepperoni, so personally my opinion is limited. My friend tends toget their pizza slice super loaded and they absolutely love it! Every time I go to Savers, I try to stop by after and it is aperfect end to a day of scavenging. They have various specials, can't recall them verbatim from the top of my head, but I tendto get 2 slices and a soda with (what I assume) unlimited refills. If you are a sports fan, you will love this place. All staffI have encountered are all male. They tend to have various sports playing on the TV every time I stop by.. They serve youimmediately and are pleasant and courteous. This place deserves more than 5 stars, in my opinion. Read more

First time tonight and we were greatly satisfied. WOW. Loved the pizza, I even ate the crust, which I never do at most places. ... The pastrami sandwich was awesome...bread was fresh, well grilled and the meat was soft. Hubby had the spaghetti and meatballs,he is already planning on the meatball sandwich for the next visit or the sausage and cheese sandwich lol. Thank you for agreat tasting dinner ! I used to really like this place, but every time I order a pizza for delivery, I get a pizza with a crust that practically burnt... from the underneath. It leaves a pretty foul taste in the mouth. It's happened one too many times and I've never been sodisappointed in a pizza joint as much as I'm currently disappointed with this one. Read more
I've been here twice with a couple years in between visits. Me and my boyfriend love Joeys pizza. We try to go out of our way... when we get the chance when we are in California to get this pizza. Update 10/2022: After several years we returned while intown for Disneyland. It was not the same experience. Pizza was mediocre, staff manning cash register was rude as hell and pricesseemed expensive. Pizza had so much grease on it, it just fell apart. Super bummed out 3rd return was so disappointing.
