The staff was amazing, our... server was cracking jokes with us and the owner took time out of his day to tell us a little bit of the history of the place. Cool place and nice staff. Sheppard's Pie was great and the decor makes you feel like you traveled abroad.

Most of the food is sub par, especially for the price. But the restaurant is neat. If you don't want to be disappointed, come... for the neat environment, not expecting the food quality to be great. Unless it's pizza. Clucker needs more chicken. Soda linesneed cleaning. Burger patty was dry. Mac and cheese for kids should be homemade, not Kraft, but that is a personal preference Isuppose. We had a great experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. This place is also kid... friendly. Our son thoroughly enjoyed his Mac n Cheese. Popped in on a whim during our date day drive, and we?ll definitely be back! Very cool building with wonderful service and... delicious food! We had the Dingle Bay Dip and The Monarch Roast Beef sandwich for lunch paired with the Prairie Moon Red andEagle Valley Harvest Gold. I do believe I?ll be getting that dip every time we come back, as it was the highlight of mymeal. I am a frequent visitor to the Legendary Monarch Public House, and this year, I was able to enjoy the whole Irish experience on... St. Patrick's Day. The place was packed, and yet the staff handled it with excellence throughout the evening. I had one of thebest Rueben sandwiches, a specialty dessert, along a unique Irish Old Fashioned and the obligatory Guinness on tap. We found this place by recommendation of Fountain City Motel. We wanted some good food. We found a gem. Great place. Good food.... Great service. Wonderful ambiance. The owners are on-site and welcoming. Even with the variety of beers, it was hard to findone that wasn't good.
