In my 26 years of life, this was my first time at a Waffle House and it was the best experience! Service was great and the food... was as expected: all-American breakfast. Candy, our waitress, was attentive and kind! Additionally, the other waitstaff werenice and made sure to serve with a smile. We just had a babygirl a couple days ago and we decided to stop in for a good breakfast meal. It was a little chilly inside due... to them having the air on, naturally due to it being august, but as we swaddled our daughter so that way she didn't get cold. Wehear in the background, " can we turn the air off completely, we have a precious little baby over there,.". It's amazing. Wedidn't ask and didn't even think of asking. This is what it's like to see true compassion for others. Not caring aboutthemselves they turned the heat on so that way our daughter stayed warm. I consider myself somewhat of a Waffle House connoisseur. I have eaten in very many and have frequented several high performing... franchises. This is one of the good ones. GREAT employees that exhibit great communication amongst each other and theircustomers. Food is always perfect and service is always exceptional. If you aren?t a regular they will sure make you feel likeone! Even on their busiest days they run a well oiled machine. 1 star just because. Very disorganized restaurant. You can barely get take out, they claim they dont have enough staff but yet I... seen 5 workers in there today. I COULD NOT ORDER MY FOOD BECAUSE THEY CLAIM THEY WAS NOT DOING CARRY OUT...... It's just alwaysan issue with this location. Not to mention that one of the workers while i was in there today dropped a plate and glass wentall over the customer's that was sitting at the bar. I also went in there after work one night and there was only 2 peopleworking, they told me they was closed due to them being out of food and the manager wouldn't answer their calls & the big bosswas out of town. Where do they do that at? Only here in Ft Wright Ky!! I will not be coming back to this location. Read more
