West Side Cafe is ABSOLUTELY my family?s go- to breakfast spot and Diner! We visit monthly and no matter what new breakfast... places open in town, we always compare their food to West Side?s and we always end up right back where we started! When theparking lot is full and the line is out the door, you know you?ve stumbled upon something special. The hole in the wallbuilding, the tired 80?s decor and the long wait times are vastly offset by their incredible food, service and patriotism! Fromthe moment you pull into the parking lot, their appreciation for the brave men and women who defend our country is proudlydisplayed by the American flag hung just outside the entry. Inside, you?ll see a continuation of that support hanging on everysquare inch of their walls. Proudly framed and displayed are hundreds of pictures of service men and women - mostly veterans.That alone earns them 5 stars from me as a granddaughter to a man who served and the wife of a man who also served! The food isalways ????! I prefer my fried eggs over medium and they get it right Every. Single. Time! Old school greasy fried Hash Browns?Check! Sourdough Toast and old fashioned Grits? Check! The hubs loves their gigantic omelet and their Steak breakfast platter.The lunch and dinner offerings are equally fantastic with wonderful options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. We alwaysstruggle when we go around lunchtime to choose breakfast or lunch! The service is always awesome and the restaurant is filledwith employees who are happy to serve you. They offer curbside pickup and also homemade deserts to go. We can not recommend thisplace highly enough and we will be fans and customers for life! Read more
Nothing super fancy as far as breakfast goes. But if you're looking for a good simple breakfast the quality is awesome. Service... was quick and excellent. Very reasonable prices. Can you say A1 service and food! I wish there were more stars that I can rate them at. When we came in we were immediately... greeted. They sat us down and was very nice. The food came so fast and it was hot and looked and smelled good. The entire staffwas so friendly. We also noticed how quickly they they clean tables when someone is leaving. Jordyn was our server and wentabove and beyond with excellent service. I gave hefty tip! You must try this place if you?re ever close to Fort Worth. You willnot be disappointed. Read more
Great food and even better service! Great breakfast. We are traveling for work, stopped there for breakfast. It was so... refreshing to be greeted with a smiling face and it kept going. Every employee we saw was happy and smiling. Made you feel sowelcome. Food was fresh, hot and tasted wonderful. All 4 of us were very pleased with food and the service. Went there for breakfast. They are always full but I never waited more than 15-20 minutes for a table. Service is fast and... great. Everyone is so nice helpful. I ordered an omelet and my husband ordered an old fashioned breakfast. Would definitelyrecommend. Read more

Very busy and very organized. Full staff serving efficiently Food was hot, warm syrup for pancakes, eggs cooked as ordered,... served quickly. Very clean dining room and rest rooms. West Side Cafe is always so good. I'd only had breakfast there before. Breakfast there is pretty great. The menu has so much... great home cooking type food. They have meatloaf, pork chops and chicken fried steak and more.They even have chicken anddumplings. That was very tempting, but I just had to have some chicken fried steak. It came with two sides. I chose green beansand fried okra. Everything was perfect. The wait staff was very attentive and super-friendly. Read more
